Royal South Beach Hotel

Terrible.

Pros: •Decent Price. • Center of Everything, Restaurants, Shops, The Beach everything you can think off is in walking distance. •$20 Code for Uber at front desk Cons: #1 Our Ceiling Was Leaking, later found out Everyone's was. Something happened with their pipes.. MY CLOTHES AND MAKEUP GOT WET WITH DIRTY WATER • We did Not receive any wash clothes. We asked 3 times and everytime was told they didn't have any at that moment. They only had 3 towels in our room. (We bought our own wash cloths) • The whole linen set was super cheap. Two of the 4 pillowcases on each bed appeared dirty. (When it gets to that point they need to buy New ones) • Our Sink hot water did not work. • The Maid came in our room and didn't touch ANYTHING. Trash still there, bed sheets weren't changed, No fresh towels, and still no wash cloths, Nothing was done. We had to check our stuff to make sure nothing was taken. WE WERE RARELY IN THE HOTEL, If you're 18 - 25 it might not bother you... You'll come to change and maybe sleep a little. IF MY STUFF WAS RUINED I WOULDN'T Be So Uptight. I HAVE YET TO HEAR ABOUT COMPENSATION OR A DISCOUNT ON THE HOTEL. My stuff isn't cheap. They came up looked and left. The man said nothing when I asked about my stuff.

Horrible service! The guy at the desk was extremely rude and disgusting! The place overall is nasty! You’re better off staying on the street.. check in is at 3pm he told us to come in at 4! STAYYYY AWAY

Very bad management!! They over booked the hotel and sold my room I booked in an month in advance

It was ok . Only thing available due to spring break.

When I got to the hotel, which I booked over a month in advance, I was told that they are overbooked and do not have a room for me. This is after flying for 10 hours and my flight being delayed for 6 hours and my luggage gone missing. The front desk clerk called Orbitz/Expedia who never called back. I then called Orbitz and spent over 2 hours on the phone with a representative only to be found a room in another hotel. The other hotel looks like something out of Breaking Bad. The Orbitz representatives speak poor English, but honestly it should not take over 2 hours to find a room. I had to pay an extra cab fare to get d on this place to the new hotel. The hotel clerk was very unhelpful in finding a new place and refused to help, he also spoke broken English and was hard to understand.

ok for the price no parking and difficult to drop luggage

The staff was fine. The condition of the hotel isn’t their fault. The hotel needs to be updated. Nothing 3 star about it. The maintenance guy was phenomenal, I wish I could remember his name.

With travel experience to 65 countries, the hotel is one of the worst I have stayed in. It is very run down with poor maintenance and not overly clean. The staff was amazing and helpful, but gave me a room that had not been cleaned the day before, then sent me to a room that was occupied and my 3rd try left me with a rundown room. the area is great but the hotel is not.

Entrance to this flea bag.. looks more like a welfare Hotel. Windows are sealed (painted) shut. Outdoor roof space called the solarium. Was filthy. To the point where you could not sit on any of the furniture. Old ashtrays with cigarette butts and trash everywhere.. I make a hobby of staying at economy hotels when I travel alone. This is the second worst hotel I've ever booked through Expedia. The first being a hotel on LaBrea in Hollywood... This place is truly a dump.
