Punthill Apartment Hotel - Little Bourke

The price and location were excellent for our purposes. The facility felt really safe with the extra key to glass doors on the lift landing. The room was bigger than expected as it was really a one bedroom apartment rather than a studio. It had everything we needed and the bed was really comfortable. The room itself was clean but tired, needing a paint job and refurbish.

The lounge seemed grubby and I put a cover on it as I felt uncomfortable sitting on it. The fridge's icebox had iced up and broken the seals and the gas stop stove's lighter did not work and the butane lighter in the cutlery drawer needed refuelling. It would have been nice to have some lamps, either by the bed or in the lounge room or even both.

This location was so perfect for the theatre district and the bed was one of the best I've had in a stay accommodation and amazing food district

Under renovation Some feedback for improvement: - wifi unusable (super slow didn’t work at all most of the time) had to use 50gb of data - nails sticking up through carpet dangerous - add more lighting around the rooms/living room can be stuff that plugs into walls - bigger TV was really far from bed - clean the jacuzzi it’s stained

Loved the location in china town. Very dynamic and interesting area. Reception staff member was very helpful Our fellow travelers did say the carpet in their room needed a clean. Our room was great. Good size, very comfortable bed. Towels and bed linen provided were a high standard.

Good sized room- easy to move around. Chosen because it was close to the Garden and Flower show. Comfortable bed.

Occasionally there was noise and loud door closing from the corridor. Obviously the corridors are being upgraded and were unfinished.
