Easy to get to location, decent on site facilities (no gym but there is a cardio room) Reception staff were lovely and friendly

The service at the restaurant was lacking and definitely could’ve been improved. Could tell there was a newer/junior staff on but the more experienced host seemed to be visibly frustrated with them - just put a training badge on new staff and guests will understand, but no need to blame them for mistakes (wrong drink brought to table, which is easily fixed) The curtains in the room didn’t full close either so had to lean a chair up against the wall to hold it close

Location, close to everything, but we had a car.

Internet at room 205 was non existent. The renovation was dusty but understandable.

"Nice base"

Well located on the edge of town, so you can get there (and leave) easily. Some other hotels IMHO are too far out Easy check in and a lovely spacious room, breakfast was nice and the restaurant was VERY nice. The only downside was they could do with extra staff in the restaurant as they were extremely busy, but I believe there was a “no show” one evening The pool isn’t heated BTW, takes your breath away
