Sunvivia by Fiesta Americana Mazatlán

The Inn is close to many good restaurants and El CID golf course if you like to golf. The rooms are nice and the food is acceptable. What I didn’t like about my trip was the noise. The beaches are public and the mariachi bands play constantly on the beach in front of the hotel pool. Many times there are two playing at the same time different songs and this goes in all afternoon into the evening. You can’t even talk to the person next to you or read a book at the pool due to the noise. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful vacation this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place to hear mariachi bands and enjoy Mexican music this is your place.

Beautiful sunset every evening from the room balcony. Staff is very courteous. The pools and grounds are very well maintained. Would stay again

Property was in a great location, on the bus routes, making us mobile for our entire months stay. The manager, Jose Ornelas accommodated us with a one bed room,full kitchen. Thank you sir. The staff at the front desk and the bell boys were at our beckoning, 24/7, and all maintenance issue were immediate, if not sooner. We cannot say enough good about how they treated us. Thank you desk clerk’s Gabriela, Guilberto, Paulina, Teresita, Fernando, Zumaava, Cesar and anyone I may have missed. Thanks also to the bell boys Guillermo, Alfonzo, Samuel, Adrian, Carlos, and anyone I may have missed. A really special thank you goes to our housekeeper Katherine. What a sweetheart of a young lady. We appreciated everything Katherine did for us. We spoke very little Spanish and Katherine spoke minimal English yet we had no trouble communicating. We will return to The Inn for an even longer stay in 2026.

Room,the view,the grounds,the service the food and happy hour

That I had a room with 2 beds and I was not allowed to have a second person come to my room and visit or spend the night... because I had to pay for the extra person for the length of my whole stay...if one person registers in then you should supply a room with a full, queen or king size bed...and not charge for double occupancy room...

Good access to the beach and public transportation. The maid for our room was awesome. Staff was always helpful. Internet worked flawlessly. Our room was in the tower and was tired. Street noise was problematic as we came to hear the ocean and it was obscured by road noise. However, we did get a front row seat to the beautiful Mazatlán sunsets. Would have preferred a room in the newer part of the hotel so when walking to the pool area one would not have to walk through the lobby.

People greet us friendly . Luz Maria is outstanding . Our room was very comfortable, beautiful view and practical Gilberto was kind . Wish you have self parking . Breakfast buffet is quite expensive. Beautiful pool area… Nice that swimming pools water is heated!!

The Inn’s central location is walkable to many shops, restaurants and the El Cid golf course. The grounds were very pretty with many chase lounges and day beds around the two pools and five hot tubs. You have to turn in a towel card for one pool towel per person. Only one bar and restaurant at the pool called Papagayo was open. The prices at Papagayo were very reasonable at 120 pesos each. Take advantage of the two for one drink of the day and happy hour. The pool servers were very attentive. Ceviche was delicious. We had a corner room with two views, a glass balcony with two large chars, two full beds, and a fairly large bar fridge with a freezer. Unfortunately, the housekeepers only left two large bath towels and one hand towel for two people. I had to call to request a wash cloth and an additional hand towel. The shower seal is broken so the floor got really wet. They don’t provide hair conditioner. Poor TV reception with mostly Spanish channels. The gym is very clean and useful with two treadmills, one elliptical, some dumbbells and a bunch of pulley-based weight machines.

Every time we go on vacation to this property, we always have a good family time together! We been going to this property for the past 3 to 4 years.
