Mariposa Lodge

We stayed here twice non consecutively in one week. The first stay was amazing! The second stay, the employee (different from first time) was not kind and inappropriate. We arrived at 3:30 (Expedia says check in at 3), and she was getting into a car to leave and stopped to tell us “I’ll be back check in is at 4” and left for 30 mins. Then, when we were able to check in, she told us one room number, and then gave us a key to a different room. When I said it was the wrong key, she laughed and said “I’m r*******”. We took the key and left. Then, this room was sadly not as amazing as the first. The bathroom was much smaller and the shower did not drain quickly at all. We decided to just shower in the pool at our feet because it was easier than dealing with that employee again. Now knowing both experiences, I would try to request the room we had the first time!

Great location for Yosemite trip! The town was charming, the people friendly and the lodge was perfect for us

The lodge has a quaint charm, and the staff work hard to make guests feel welcome. While our stay was comfortable, we were not given adjoining rooms as a family, and the property itself feels a bit dated. Overall, it was a pleasant one-night stay.

Air conditioning worked incredibly well despite it being 97 degrees outside. The room was exactly what we needed for our trip :)

Great place in the heart of Mariposa, walking distance to coffee, restaurants, supermarket, bars. Clean, quiet comfortable setting, friendly helpful staff, a winner!

Tv could be updated.

Nice and clean place. Convenient to go around for eateries. Staff is friendly.
