Marriott's StreamSide Birch at Vail

Very nice hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Great stay. Steam room and sauna. Only downside is no restaurant on site.

Large spacious suite but a little dated. Walking distance to shops. Well worth the price.

No air conditioning. We stayed in early September. Although it was in the 80s during the day, it was cool enough in the evening (and not humid!). The balcony faced trees, so no view. The pull-out sofa was exceptionally comfortable. The pool is shared by all of the Vacation Club buildings. I would expect that road noise is a problem at many of the Vail hotels as a number of them are close to I-70.

OMG! Do not stay at this resort. I'm a Marriott Vacation Club owner and WOW - this one take the cake - the room has no AC, so when its hot - you can open the window to cool off - BUT beware it comes at a cost - you will now be subjected to the sounds of the highway. Pick your poison - Heat or the soothing sounds of the highway and trucks all day and night long. When I called down to the front desk for help, the response was too bad the resort is full. I can't believe I wasted my precious point on this torture

Marriott Streamside Birch does not meet Marriott standards! No A/C, no washer dryer in unit, limited hot water for shower, building is dated with issues. When bringing these issues to management on call during the day they would not even talk to us about the problems. Managers at night told us others have complained but until the board approves repairs there hands are tied. They were not accommodating what's so ever. Will not return!

This was a spacious one-bedroom suite in West Vail. Near the highway but the rushing river drowns that out. Our kitchen was stocked with equipment and generous amount of coffee. We loved the outdoor hot tub (there is an indoor one too) and indoor/outdoor pool. Plus, fire pit. Daily paper and lots of books available for reading material. We would stay again.

Great pool and tons of family activity. Convenient to all of Vail Valley.

We stayed at Streamside (Birch) for 7 nights for a skiing vacation at Vail - our second stay here. Was as good as last time. Great apartments, well appointed with everything you need. Comfortable bed - we had a one-bed studio apartment. Excellent location for Vail ski centre with a regular free bus service to / from Streamside to Vail Loinshead Square. Outdoor pool & hot hub really nice after a day on the ski slopes. Shops & restaurants easy walking distance so very convenient. Friendly team at Streamside - always welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended and hope to return soon!
