Wonderful experience. Superior customer service. Upgraded for 5 nights using “Upgrade Awards” to 2 room junior suite. Outstanding VIP lounge for breakfast and evening meals including 2 hours complimentary wine, champagne and beer. Employees all speak and understand English. Very courteous and caring people. They anticipate the customer wishes. Roof top pool, bar and lounge nicely done.

Yousef, the bar tender at lobby area, was exceptional. Great advice on where to go, places to see. Make a point to have your pre and after dinner drinks there.

Yousef makes a mean dirty martini! He has made our stay memorable and enjoyable. Always great recommendations and good chat at the hotel bar.

Ao chegar na sexta feira as 16h30min para o checkin meu quarto, que deveria estar pronto as 15 horas, nao estava pronto. Só entrei no quarto as 17h30min. No dia seguinte, sai do quarto as 9h30min e retornei as 15h30min e nao tinham arrumado o quarto. Acabou ficando sem arrumação.

JW Marriott Rio de Janeiro This is our second vacation at JW Marriott Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana, and our almost three weeks are about to end in a couple of days. Let us start with the conclusion: Excellence in Perfection. The location of the hotel right in front of the midpoint of Copacabana beach could not be better. The view is stunning. Our suite 920, next to the Executive Lounge is very comfortable. The Executive Lounge is well appointed and convenient. Alternative breakfast on the first floor is also excellent. The swimming pool, and we swam one hour every morning before breakfast, is great and well maintained. We are experienced and sophisticated higher-end travelers, more than 70 countries, many 20 times over, and all these years we have rarely had the benefit of hotel and restaurant services more dedicated to perfection, and by definition to us, the clients, than the staff at JW Marriott Rio de Janeiro! Nicoly Queen’s expertise, experience, dedication to client satisfaction and overall professionalism, as Leader food and beverage services are exceptional. Nicoly is simply magical since she seems to be everywhere at the same time and all time, tremendous professional. So is Izaias, Supervisor food and beverage services, always present, always assisting clients or colleagues, and always with his exceptional conviviality and commitment to perfection. What can we say about João? Let us keep it simple: there can be no Executive Lounge without him. João has the unique talent of anticipating our needs, in addition to his exceptional interpersonal skills and tirelessly working. He is a phenomenal gift for JW Marriott’s Executive Lounge patrons! So is Denise, omnipresent at the Executive Lounge, first floor breakfast and lounge and even at the lobby bar, always available to assist clients with total dedication and a contagious smile. Exceptional! In fact, the entire team at the Executive Lounge and first flour main breakfast and lounge hall, including Matheus, Augustinho, Lourival, Thiago and Julia excels with its professionalism, expertise and commitment to perfection. We apologize for not remembering all the names. Of course, what more can we say about Angela and her housekeeping team other than we felt pampered from the moment we arrived. Angela’s experience, expertise and dedication to absolute perfection and client’s satisfaction are exceptional qualities which make her a perfect example of JW Marriott’s s image as a superlative hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
