Grand Park Royal Cozumel - All Inclusive

The hotel is located near the cruise port which was nice seeing ships come in and out. The beach area is small. They have rocks right there to snorkel at. Rooms were good and spacious. The main disappointment was the food. There was not many options. Only two restaurants and a buffet. Then the snack bar at the beach. Things had weird hours. The pools closed at night so no night swimming. Bars closed except for one or two at night. No entertainment at night other than the one show at 9pm. Bars did not have drink menus. People would claim chairs at the beach and you wouldn’t see people sit in them hardly all day so seating at the beach was limited.

This place is like staying at a large family home in a small community, starting with the staff attitude. Food is exceedingly well managed. Luis Pichardo has built a superb crew who know what they're doing, always put the customer first, and are a pleasure to be around. Plus he will ensure vegan options if you request.

Facilities: layout of the hotel is great, not too big, not too small, beach is small but considering the location it's good and safe at the same time, pools need some refurbish and more cleaning on a daily basis. Fun staff was great and keep us busy all day, overall, 70% of the food tasted good to be an all-inclusive resort

The overall facility needs a good refurbish, rooms are comfortable in space, but woodwork and lights are dated and need refurbishing, there were a power outage due to a machine failure and seems that the brakers did not support the iron and air dryer machine working at the same time, one pool was closed by day and a half due to maintenance, that was disappointing, some dishes lack taste and were served cold at the buffet, (part of the 30%)

Food was cold same food recycled through out the day got food poisoning along with my daughter rooms were clean grounds are gorgeous pools were not very clear murky some days beach is small cobblestone and lots of stairs to get up and down store only takes pesos or credit card not much real entertainment

March 7 through the 14, 2026 we spent at Grand Park Royal in Cozumel. Loved this Resort. Built approximately 41 years the architectural design is beautiful. Rustic paths through beautifully landscaped areas with hammocks surrounding a wandering pool with a swim up bar, leading to all inclusive restaurants, therater with nightly entertainment, children's club and playground coffee shop, gift shop, spa, to the beach with snorkeling area, 2 pools with swim up bars, and hot tubs. There is so much to do here. There is a entrance to Royal Village with Shopping and Casino. The resort was immaculately clean and the staff friendly and very helpful.

The location near the water, along with multiple pools to enjoy, was great. The food, in general, was disappointing. Restaurant portion sizes were very small and often cold. The rooms were clean but dated.

The resort feels nothing like the pictures, it’s even better than expected! There are lots of beautiful palm trees and greenery. Some parts of the resort feel like you’re in a rain forest. The layout of the resort is perfect and easy to get to. Everything is within a short walk. The snorkeling right at the beach is an amazing experience. Bring your own snorkel mask and water shoes. The entertainment is great during the day and night. There’s 3 swim up bars and I really enjoyed looking out at the cruise ships from the infinity pools. There’s a gate beside the theatre that you can use your room key to access in and out that will take you to a very large shopping centre. You can negotiate prices and be sure to keeping walking along the road until you’ve reached the end of the shops. The food is very enjoyable. My absolute favourite is the seafood restaurant that is open behind the infinity pool and is open 1-4. I even tried the chicken there and it was incredible. The buffet has a different theme each night and what I really like is that you don’t need reservations for the Mexican or Italian à la cartes. Do yourself a favour and order the coconut shrimp and the Mexican restaurant. The people here are very friendly, the beds and pillows are super comfortable, the rooms feel safe and clean. I would definitely come back to this resort

The food in the buffet was not good

Geared more towards a south american population. Some dishes seemed to be re heated from the night before. A lot of items to oily or greasy on the prep. Food handling on temp..should be more careful especially during bbq night
