Elstead Hotel

I found this to be a really good place to stay in Bournemouth. Staff were extremely helpful, great to have a pool which was good. Very good value especially considering it included breakfast which was also good. Super convenient for the station and only 10 minutes walk into centre and 10 Minutes down to seafront. Good to be able to support a local hotel as there are a lot of chain hotels in the area. Will definitely stay again.

Nice clean comfortable room , slept well . The cold water control on the shower didn’t work very well but I coped . Staff friendly .

Near to centre of Bournemouth with free parking. So convenient to train and bus stations too.

Lovely place plus pool and whirlpool is real value for money. All staff and service were lovely, friendly and kind. Facilities in the room were plentiful for a small family. Amazing value for money. Thank you staff.

Not bad for a one night stay visiting friends. Friendly welcome from reception. The room was clean with plenty of tea and coffee, comfy bed and enough power sockets to charge phone and laptop etc. I can't comment on the leisure facilities as I didn't have time to try them. Breakfast was ok; although hash browns, beans and mushrooms would have been nice to have on the buffet. Free parking was most welcome. It's not the newest property; but perfectly good for a short break. For those evening drinks; it's about ten minutes walk to the start of the town centre drinking circuits. I would stay here again.

The receptionist was friendly and professional. The hotel gives the impression of being rather old and tired in the communal areas. The actual room was very nice, spacious and clean. The use of the steam room and jacuzzi was an added bonus! I definitely stay again

We don’t venture to Bournemouth that often but when we do, we stay at The Elstead. We arrived by train this time and the hotel is about 5min walk from the station, but plenty of taxis available if needed. We had one of the executive doubles this time which are a little more spacious than standard, but equally equipped with tea making facilities, TV, hairdryer and iron. Everywhere was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff here are cheery and helpful. Would stay again and must try the spa next time.

The hotel staff are 100% on the ball, friendly and always happy to help, knowledgable about the area and hotel itself. Cleanliness and conditioning of the hotel was brilliant. Breakfast: could have more regarding fried breakfast not just 3 items. Cereal and continental breakfast brilliant
