Motel 6-Butte, MT - Historic City Center

The price was reasonable. Apparently, the reason is what I have listed below.

It's located in a sketchy industrial neighborhood. There are several people who just hang out in the parking lot for hours. The tub had so much hair in the drain that the water wouldn't drain (see picture for a portion of the blockage). The room appears to have been flooded as the flooring, especially near the door is warped and peeling up. A large dog was in the room next to us and was left locked in for many hours. It barked continuously while the owner was away.

Room floors are dirty and smells like an old casino that was smoked in. Paid for the hotel via booking then was called and manager said I didn't pay and took another form of payment and was told to follow up with booking.com. booking.com was great and tried to help. Now I am out double the amount waiting refund.

They are the best management and staff were the best

We didn’t get to experience anything.

We booked this room on Sunday June 14th and didn’t get a phone call or any notification that this room was “overbooked” until 50 minutes before check in. We live in Great Falls about 2 hours away; so we got the call as we were driving to the hotel. So I am more than a little upset at the situation. We had to scramble to find new accommodations that were more expensive. Not a great start to our trip.

Not enough lights in room. Questionable people walking in front of rooms that didn't have a room.
