Hilton Garden Inn Norwalk

Most employees were doing their best under difficult conditions.

The facility is a disgrace to the Hilton brand. It’s been underfunded for years in one of the most affluent counties in the country. Obviously the decision has been made by management to ignore the conditions at the location. Everything is dingy and worn out. The hallway carpeting is dirty, the rear doorway to parking is broken and does not open with e-cards, walls and baseboards are scuffed, the breakfast buffet is disgustingly (burnt scrambled eggs, greasy sausage) the hot tub control knob was broken, my bathroom door jam looks like someone had broken in, etc., etc. etc.

Cold showers, cold room, no heat, no soap in the coomon area restrooms,

The staff was amazing and the shower was good

The bed was awful. The pillows were awful. The sheets were polyester. The windows were not able to open and the air conditioning not good.

The property is conveniently located on a Main Street in Norwalk. Easy access to the highway. The staff is very friendly. Check in was efficient. Requests were meeted graciously and were very helpful.

It was very dirty. There was an old matchup stain on the wall next to me during breakfast. The mat where they laid out coffee in the morning and flavored water in the afternoon also was dirty. The carpets are worn. Curtains were disheveled . The entire place is in need of an overhaul.
