Could use a safe, clock, and better toilet paper in the room.

The room was nice

Nothing outside the room, was worth using, the indoor pool was empty and closed, the hall carpets were worn out. I searched for indoor pool as my number 1 criteria, when i inquired about this the rude manager told me i should have looked on the website it clearly has an alert there. The problem is booking.com doesn't link the hotel web address. So i had to change hotels and wait until 3pm to check-in, it was just a minor disaster and just a sorry would have been nice.

The location

Old. Absolutely needs to be updated. The mattress was an old spring mattress that you can hear when you move. Tub had permanent darkening from people feet, the entire place felt dirty. There was a horrible stain on the chair in the room. It was so bad I turned the cushion over to not look at it. It was either poop or old blood. I told management & no response. Breakfast was expensive, we opted to go to the diner for less than what this would cost. It's a shame that since COVID quality has declined so much.

We just had an overnight stay here. Staff were unfriendly. except for Michael who was my contact via Texting. Apparently, smoking pot in the rooms/hotel is acceptable as you could smell it in many areas and was going through the venting systems thanks to my neighbor smoking in the bathroom, now i am not judging if this is your thing then this could be a reason for you to stay here, for me not quite what i want to smell. Paid extra for continental breakfast however, their records were not updated so, we had to return back to the breakfast with our booking receipt to show proof. Check out is 12:00 at this hotel which is nice, except housekeeping entered by room using their key at 9:20 am.

The location was convenient. We were there for a wedding and aquarium visit the next day. The water pressure in the shower was good.

We were super disappointed that the pool wasn't operational. The grandkids had really been looking forward to that. The toilet seat was so loose that my husband tightened it himself - literally ready to fall off.... Everything seemed shabby. The ice machine door was locked when I went to get ice one morning.

We made our reservation 2mo ths before going and called to asking the pool would be open. They said it would be open April 1st after maintenance. We showed up to check in and the rude and unkempt front desk women told us that they were shut down till the 31st. When I said that was unacceptable the unproffesional barely literate front desk decided to argue with me over a refund for cancelation. They changed the opening date after we booked without telling any of their reservations about the change. The usual suspects running the asylum. Place looked like it was rife with crime from the staff. Avoid at all costs.
