ibis Cardiff Gate - International Business Park

The decor was very dated, dimly lit, There was NO aircon! absolutely boiling in the room,

Very clean and comfortable. Reception staff were lovely and the cleaning staff were wonderful - they did an exceptional job especially as it’s was the weather was very hot that particular weekend. The location is also great with loads of food places in the motorway services and retail park nearby.

Basic but does the job. A little out of the way if you intend on spending all of your time in Cardiff but there is a very regular bus service that runs from a stop which is about 15 min walk.

room layout and size, bathroom, comfort of bed, lighting, temperature, cool enough, staff were friendly, and happy to help and had enough information when I needed it

there was not enough tea and milk, there was not enough toilet roll. there was one only chair, and I had to go down to reception to ask them for these extra things, so it would have been better to have had an internal phone to communicate to reception to bring more tea and milk and toilet roll

The cleaners are good.. They are friendly.. Its a nice value for money and the staff were happy to help with anything.

My only problem The breakfast was empty (nearly by 9.00 am No beans, no bacon..) The chef could have checked or gauged a little better.. io was able to eat something though.. What I did eat was fine.

Location was good and staff lovely, the building is rather outdated and aged. There is not much ventilation at all and each floor has a different and interesting stale aroma.

Not good value for money at all! £250 for the night is 10x what it's really worth, and im not exaggerating. It's a glorified YHA

I paid £220 for a twin room, only to find out that breakfast wasn't included, bloody ridiculous. The scrambled eggs were stone cold by the way.

Lovely staff

The location for cardiff Centre was miles away. the only thing near was the Service center nothing in the vicinity at all
