Baymont by Wyndham Sanford

I had read some reviews on this location and they were not that great. However, with Wyndham on board they are making improvements to this very conveniently located motel. The free breakfast had some variety we enjoyed, which included bake your own waffles, and fresh fruit. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and there was plenty of lighting and power/usb outlets to access. I would stay here again.

The staff! They tried. Definitely nice and helpful!

Many things wrong with the room. But #1 is having to pay a deposit for staying at this hotel. Not cool. Next, the room was pitiful. I mean if I was paying 70$ I could of understood the way the room was but honestly, it was on a.c., when we checked in even though it was already freezing outside. Then the was a big Crack in the ceiling, something that was put down in the bottom of the tub I guess because the tub itself felt like it had a Crack in the bottom. Scary to stand on. Die to outside not sealed his, let alot of air in. Sometimes soda was still in fridge when we got there. Bathroom door broken at the top and it gets stuck. Ceiling has cracks in it. The bed is a spring mattress and has this loud annoying sound when it gets hot by husbandsfeet by accident. TV was very small. No night table on one side is the bed. I am writing to formally address multiple concerning issues I experienced during my recent stay at your property, which significantly affected my comfort and overall experience: Food Residue: Trail mix and other food debris were left behind the bed and remained untouched, even after housekeeping "cleaned." Improper Cleaning: Housekeeping only replaced the top layer of sheets, leaving other visibly dirty bedding, including period stains on the blankets. Mold: Black mold was present on the bathroom ceiling, and there was mold on the soap provided in the room. Cigarette Odor: The room had a pervasive cigarette smell, despite being a non-smoking room, which is both unpleasant and a health concern.

Great place for the price , nothing to complain about

Check out early, promised a refund, none has been received, then contradictory information, saying I didnt check out. Yet, I was stying in Raleigh 70 miles away. Avoid Wyndham hotels at all costs.

I liked the staff a lot. Parking was very good and for the price of the room, a very nice breakfast. Convenient to my needs and comfortable bed. The property needs a complete makeover which I understand is under way a couple of rooms at a time. In the meantime, the bathroom in my room was very dirty.
