Residence Inn Dallas DFW Airport North/Irving

The rooms were outdated, moldy, and awkward. The room was missing a couch cushion. The layout of the rooms is confusing and hard to navigate. The hotel charged me for it and said I took it, which just added insult to injury. Horrible establishment.

The woman at the main desk was bit overwhelmed, but was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and offered something a little different each day.

The room's television was not working. I when to the main desk to inquire, she said that the cable/internet was in the process of of changing, so that there would be no working TV in our room for the entire 3 nights that we stayed. That is pretty inexcusable in this day and age.

We were disappointed with our stay here as the front desk staff was slow to stop people from playing basketball in the outside courtyard between the hours of 10 PM and 2 AM on each night of our stay at this Residence Inn. Sometimes inconsiderate guests do Not think about others trying to get sleep.

Security was horrible, door from outside was broken so anybody can enter. The place had a smell about it… the tv didn’t work. Finely by bill was sent via email and no information is on the bill. I’ve been trying to call to get my bill so I can submit an expense report. They pick up and hang up the phone because I’ve been letting it ring for so long. My last stay at a RI. Back to Hampton Inn I’ve never had any of this at the countless properties I’ve stayed at.

First time in Dallas and picked a Marriott property. Unfortunately the condition of the hotel and room was poor. The entry door you needed your card key but the door was open and wouldn’t lock. We felt very uneasy. The bathroom door didn’t close completely. I asked front desk if there was an easy way to get to our room was told no and had to walk around the building only to see easier access in other areas. Overall just a bad experience and won’t stay again

Service was not up to what I am accustomed to for a Bonvoy. Bed made once not a huge deal but nothing else was refreshed. No coffee refilled or Creamer. When I asked for more Facial tissue and coffee I was told that it was not possible to bring more. Breakfast is the same thing every day with very little variation. Cabinets in the Kitchen are aged but painted. Doors are greasy and opening them is tough. Curtains barely close enough to keep out the light from outside.

Needs remodeling; carpet odor covered by a very pungent musky carpet freshener - gave me a headache. The location is very convenient to businesses near DFW and places to eat within a few minutes drive.

Property was clean,quiet and safe. We will stay again
