Quality Inn Decherd - Winchester

The Best Motel I ever stayed in Tennessee. I don't believe what I read about this Beautiful, Gorgeous, Motel. We will return again in October 2024. Away from Noise of traffic. Pool was Ultra Warm. Love this Resort. Close to Lynchburg, Tennessee.

The door did not latch locked unless you lifted the door up, which we didn't know until someone from house keeping barged in without having to use a key card bc they thought it was another room and was then like "oh theres a secret to latching your door". The water had to be ran for 5 minutes to even get warm for bathing. The rooms needed better cleaning, there were cobwebs and bugs. Both mornings the breakfast was decent but they didnt check it often enough so there would be plates but no napkins or silverware. The pictures of the facility are misleading. The pictures make the rooms look well kept and updated, they are not.

No plates or napkins for the breakfast. The walls are thin and you can hear people talking.

Newly renovation so rooms nice but toilet didnt work peoperly has no towels was a pain to get towels.

This place was an absolute nightmare..,, for starters the room was absolutely filthy. See photos. There was no iron in the room. There was no bath mat to step on when exiting the shower; I went to the front desk to obtain one and was told we don’t have any of those and said “use a pool towel” and provided me with a pool towel. I asked for two,additional,washcloths and was told “I don’t think I have two”. I went down to the eating area for breakfast and took one look at the sink that appeared to have not been cleaned or touched in months! Disgusting is putting it nicely. The overall environment would be described as a location for the local drug users to get their fix and that’s me saying it nicely. I would NEVER stay here! We ended up staying with friends.

Blood spatter on the bathroom door, shower head leaking which splatters water on bathroom floor, bathroom door doesn’t latch, cigarette burn holes in sheets in a non smoking room, remote control sticky substance all over it, etc. We arrived 15 minutes early and was told we had to wait until exactly 3 p.m. to check in, very rude pink hair lady at desk. She wanted to spend time with her friends in parking lot. Awful place.

Always clean and friendly staff

When I got to the room, there was no towels or washcloths the vending machines did not work. The ice machine did not work. I found a dirty washcloth in the bathtub you could see daylight between the door and the wall.
