Hilton Garden Inn Missoula

One of the main attributes of a Hilton Garden Inn is having a restaurant for dinner. Otherwise it is a Hampton Inn. After checking in I asked about the restaurant: closed on Sunday night. When I questing such a departure from every Garden Inn I have stayed in over the past three decades the response was a flippant sorry that just the way it is. The AC sounds like a cross between an lawnmower and a weed-eater ready to die. One of the bedside lights didn't have an light bulbs. This appears to be one of those hotels that caters to conventions and large conferences where the customer is the organizer not the traveler. There are signs that say they are not responsible for your car. Take that seriously. When I went out to find something to eat I noticed several dilapidated RV with people living in them across the street. This may be the first time I have rated a hotel one star. If there is not something of redeeming value where I stay, it is because I didn't do my research. There are great location that are badly managed; or poor properties that are very well managed. But to find a major brand that can't get either correct is very unusual.

Quiet, spacious rooms. But dislike that there is no fan in the bathroom.

The property was OK. The vent in the bathroom lets you hear what’s happening in the bathroom next door. Bathroom was really small. The Hilton in Whitefish is much nicer and has a free hot breakfast.

Checking and the whole overall hotel has been extremely nice clean lobby clean rooms and nice staff

Way overpriced for the value. I felt scammed/taken advantage of. They have someone aggressively policing the very underwhelming breakfast bar. No hot tub. This place is a scam. Paid $500 for an experience I could have had at a motel 6 for $75. (I wish this was exaggerating.)

No issues, property met the expectations of the brand
