Quality Inn Memphis Northeast near I-40

This property was misrepresented on the web site. The out side was run down no grounds keeping, gate falling down front lobby doors broken and stuck open. Drug users or homeless standing outside and inside the hotel with scabs from head to toe. Hallways wear filthy and had trash all over outside the rooms. After check-in we went to the room and the elevator was malfunctioning and didn't work correctly. we made it to the room and it smelled gross and it was filthy so I made the call to leave and get another hotel. I got my family out ASAP. I went to the front desk and they would not refund me so I lost the whole amount for that hotel. I want a refund if I don't hear from someone on this soon I will call someone that will help me. Worst experience I have ever had.

Have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode where he has to explain to the car rental place how reservations work? This place doesn’t understand how reservations work. We arrived around midnight after a 10hr drive to be told that we don’t have a room. She SEES the reservation, she tells me, you know, to ease my mind. But there’s just no room. We had already been waiting in the lobby ten minutes trying to figure out where the staff was. Turns out, as she explained helpfully, she was checking the empty dirty rooms to see if one was passable. They were not. But … she did invite me kindly to come see it for myself and maybe I wouldn’t mind it. I can’t make this ish up you guys. Once I convinced her to call another quality inn, she let us know they aren’t answering the phone so we need to go somewhere else. Wish I could give you a review of the comfort of the room, but it just wasn’t in the cards you guys.

Worst location ever, one towel, nasty floors, milk and cereal, (fruit loops)is all there was for breakfast, no drinks! Fear of getting my vehicle stolen!

It’s dirty smell horrible I went downstairs to talk to the front desk i cancel the booking right away

No clean No pool

Waited 25 minutes for someone to check me in. Pool closed for "renovations" when nothing was mentioned at booking or on company website. Most things broken. No towels provided in room at check in. Booked for 4 nights. Stayed first night as a necessity and went elsewhere.

The check in was great the lady did an awesome job and was very friendly and outgoing easy to get along with. But that was about the only good experience the floors were littered covered trash cans overflowing it smelled like a dead body when you took the stairs which had to often as the elevator barely worked all throughtout the elevator and 2nd and 3rd floor all you smelt was weed. I booked 2 rooms and one had no towels no remote for the tv. Upon the first hour of being there the same lady that checked us in was seen vaccuming and cleaning what she could while maintaining the front desk. It says breakfast is provided thats a joke as all it consisted of was frosted flakes apples yogurt the coffee machine was out of order wafflr maker present but no mixture provided cereal present but no milk yougurt was in fridge thing but no utensils in sight. Ad stated indoor pool which yeah there is a pool which was the main reason for booking this hotel but it was closed for maintenance when asked how long was told it had been closed for atleast 3 months now.

When we get there you see all this gates, doors wide open and broken, dirty carpet, shower floods, only cereal and juice for breakfast, only one stain towel set, holes in the curtains but the only good thing is they don’t have roaches!

This was the worst place we ever booked. It was filthy and there were dead roaches in the lobby. The floor was severely stained. The elevator struggled to work and it took several tries to get the door of it closed. There was a slight attempt to clean the room but you could see pillow stains through the sheets and there were large pieces of trash on the floor. There were several automobiles in the parking lot that had the appearance of being stripped. We felt completely unsafe and checked out after 10 minutes of being there, but of course was still charged for the room.
