We spent one night at the hotel during the recent hot weather. It was lovely to sit in the garden which was shaded by lovely trees. The garden so quiet for a city-centre location. All staff were attentive and pleasant. Our room in the old Georgian section of the building was roomy and clean and parking in the hotel car park was straightforward

A lovely convenient and delightful hotel. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent . All the staff were friendly, polite, attentive and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble which made the stay very good.

Sadly, the heatwave, not the hotels problem, made the rooms very uncomfortable. However, the hotel provided 3 fans to help with heat. To be fair not the hotels problem and not a negative complaint.
