Seville Plaza Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The location's great. It's near good restaurants and other venues. I have stayed here quite a few times and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. It is clean and comfortable. The streetcar stops here so anyone wanting to explore Kansas City has a convenient way to get around (I haven't tried it yet, but will.)

It's overdue for a renovation, but they seem to have firm plans for that and I was told that it will begin in the near future, likely shutting down one floor at a time for demo and construction. The exterior of the building has gotten paint and a facelift since I was last here three months ago and it's going under the Hilton flag so I expect change. The breakfast offerings don't appeal to me, I try to keep my bread/carb intake down and that's what's offered... so I take the coffee. For a quick breakfast the QT next door is an option, I just ordered and took it back to my room.

Do not stay here! The room was filthy, items were falling off the walls, trash was left from guests prior to us, no hot water, and terrible parking. They also never restocked breakfast so my family had to spend more money in town. Absolutely ridiculous excuse for a hotel.

Horrible place to stay. Pictures not at all what the hotel actually looked like. Room was horrible for price paid- black mold in bathroom, ceiling tiles falling in, dried blood on the countertop, outlet did not work. I do not recommend staying here to anyone.

We came for the KCAI end of semester art exhibition, we have a freshman there. The location cannot be beat. Love that we can walk to campus, QT, and Ragazza next door. It’s also just off the Plaza. If you’re more focused on convenience and location than tons of amenities, this is the perfect place. Plus, there’s no surcharge for parking and spots were always available. This will be my go-to place to stay moving forward.

The breakfast bar was terrible quality my room was not very clean my ice container was gross and I felt like over all the cleanliness made it not worth the money to stay and the next time I was in town for business I chose to stay in a less convenient area because this place was so dirty

It was horrible! The online photos compared to the actual facilities was catfishing at its finest. Disgusting, Dirty, Outdated

Everything… didn’t even stay. The parking was sketchy, the neighborhood was suspicious, the front lobby was nasty dark and not remodeled as suggested in the advertising.

Close to Westport and free car to downtown
