Village Hotel Birmingham Dudley

Good sized room and a good refreshing breakfast.

Not being told parking was an extra cost. No water in room.

Breakfast was nice and food on the night

To hot even with the fan needs air con and staff entering room on morning when we was still there

Nice hotel although lift wasn’t working and air conditioning wasn’t working in the room requested it be fixed but was given a fan when we requested one. Food good, drinks expensive, easy taxi ride into Dudley

Over all it was a good hotel shame the sauna was not working at the time of our visit the room was good and bed was comfortable

It was convenient for location. There were places to eat close by. There was charging bays in the car park. We upgraded to the club room the bed was big and comfortable. The shower was amazing and we really enjoyed the pool.

The lift was broken which made access to the room difficult as I struggled with stairs due to health, because of this we did not use the pool as much as we would have liked. The room could have benefited from air conditioning as the fans were not substantial and the Dyson fan was broken. There was also a large crack in the shower tray. It was self check in and although the staff were helpful it felt very impersonal. When we left we were not even asked if we enjoyed our stay by the staff.

Had a wonderful stay staff were fantastic bar was ok in main bar but kept running out off beers so had to keep changing drinks over the days we stayed food was great bit pricey tho but apart from that great stay

Used to be really nice, so booked it based on my previous visits there

37degrees, no air con, only 1 desk fan, no suitable PowerPoint for it, plenty of add ons after original booking, very restricted swim times for kids, and even though the day was so hot, they were not flexible with this, after all the policy is the policy, lifts didn’t work, carpets were threadbare and dangerous on some stairs, no extractor fan in bathroom, plastic glasses which were tacky, and no idea how they are more environmentally friendly than glass ones.

Unbelievable to be asked to pay £13 for an upgrade when the room received was the size of a matchbox and had non of the extras advertised. Choose elsewhere
