The Westin Poinsett, Greenville

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Westin Poinsett, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience—especially the exceptional service at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Ariana at the front desk, who truly made a lasting impression. She was incredibly sweet, professional, and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her warm personality and willingness to help immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. The new girl she was training was just as sweet and welcoming, which really speaks to the kind of team they’re building. It’s clear that customer service is a top priority here. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just a beautiful place to stay, but also a team that genuinely cares about their guests.

Beautiful historic hotel in downtown greenville, first time there. Great and helpful staff except for one girl at front desk with dark hair was kind of rude more then once the few days I was there

Outstanding stay here. As an Ambassador status, treated very well. Melanie at front desk above and beyond. Very responsive in message / chat pre arrival. Gave local pointers when checking in. Always welcoming when I saw her. Made sure my FedEx was delivered to room. Was upgraded to nice suite. Room great. Plenty of space. Excellent bed. Shower very good. Delivered welcome snacks fruit and cheese. Concierge Janice was wonderful. Several spot on recommendations. Not the touristy places. The real solid local places. She’s fantastic. Overall a 10 out of 10.

I have visited this location about 20 times over the years and keep coming back. Fantastic staff, great location, and they do a wonderful job of maintaining the historical flare of the building. Highly recommend. On this visit, Melanie at the front desk and Savannah from the Sales office were both especially helpful! Thank you both for your help!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Valet CRASHED my brand new truck and did little to any effort to help me get it fixed. They gave me a $1000 to go away and I was left with an almost $7,000 bill + a rental car bill for 2 weeks. I’ve been extremely nice and just asked for some room credit to make up the difference because I’ve stayed here many times and they won’t even respond to any of my emails. So unprofessional. I really hope a higher up in the company can see this message. Neither of these people below will even respond to me. From the time we drove up until departure, everyone was super friendly and helpful! It's also an excellent location within walking distance of great restaurants. Highly recommend!

The Westin Poinsett Hotel in Greenville SC is a beautiful well maintained property ! The Hotels location is perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops , and the beautiful downtown Park with a waterfall and a suspension walking bridge over the falls for a beautiful view. The hotels lobby is beautifully appointed and the lobby lounge is like being in a comfortable living room with live piano music in the evening. Janice the hotels concierge is a wealth of knowledge and willing to provide information on restaurants, shopping and anything Greenville. She has a friendly, helpful and outgoing personality. Mary the Hotels spoonbread restaurant manager is always friendly and professional. The breakfast is delicious and the room is absolutely perfect what a beautiful space . Melanie a front desk associate is such a pleasure and she's very interested in making her guests experience exceptional. The valet gentleman are professional, helpful and friendly. The Westin Poinsett is without question Southern Hospitality at its finest. We are loyal guests for 25 years !
