Reservations for booking.com made my way to the location after the 3:00 check-in time. Was told that they were not even taking reservations because of some building issues. Nobody called to inform me that my booking was not going to be honored. The person behind the front desk did not even check to make sure that I was not charged for the room.

Bed was comfortable and was close to where I was going.

No washroom to use on main floor, construction crew had the outdoor stair case blocked. Not much parking, due to construction crew tools and materials and equipment. No ice machines. Wasn't told under construction.

Location, easy in and out.

There was no notice of "under construction" when booking, room wasn't what was booked, mold and dirt in the bathroom, parking area was not properly cleared of snow or ice and tv had only 8 channels that worked. Overall, not worth it.

Had to park in back due to limited parking because of construction. The desk clerk said she would prop the door open for us which made me think that this was not a usual entrance. The lot in the back was dark and a sheet of ice. I ended up falling (both myself and my sister are in our late sixties). Complained to the mgr the next day and she filled out an incident report and told me that no one should be going through the back door and that there were doors on the side we could have used. I said that’s what I was told to do. She said to let them know if I end up getting treated for my fall (hurt my back) but didn’t really show any empathy. Stay away!

AWFUL place, stay somewhere else! Dirty, smells bad and not updated. We came into town to visit family for Thanksgiving and needed a place to stay that was close to grass lake, Stockbridge and Chelsea. What a disappointment to see how bad this hotel has gotten over the past 20 years. The carpet was extremely worn, stained and held an odor throughout the hotel and rooms. The chair in the room was also stained and worn (see photos). The bed pillows were lumpy and hard. Thank God we could open the window, although there were no screens. The pool was drained and closed, so was the hot tub. The decor has never been updated in the rooms or the lobby. The breakfast was not palatable. Toast, packaged muffins and pre cooked sausage heated up on paper towels. I can’t believe this place has been able to keep their flag in the choice hotel chain, as it certainly doesn’t meet the standards to keep the brand. If you need to stay in Chelsea, stay at the wyndam and avoid this place at all costs.

Wanted closer to elevator have hard time walking needed a cot . Alarm clock was on floor. Have stayed before was very nice. Appears they are fixing things up. Will stay again and see how it is

Room 124 should not be assigned to anyone. TV doesn't work. No internet. And smells

The hotel was centrally located and easy to get to. Upon arriving, the appearance was clean and well kept. Check-in was easy and without issues.

The parking lot was cramped and had deep "potholes." In the room, the clock/radio was unuseable. We could not set the time because the minute button did not work. The bed (king) was not comfortable at all. The pillows were standard sized and had no support to them at all. When we left our room, the lock would not read our key card to let us back in however It worked on the exterior doors. We went to use the hot tub, and it was broken/closed. We were informed that it was out of service for over a year. The hot tub was a main selling point for selecting the hotel. We were very disappointed with our stay.
