Hampton Inn Chelsea, Mi

Hot tub was closed. Room smelled and had windows open with no screens. This made for a bug filled room. Bathroom was dirty. Won't stay here again.

Great location off the highway. City of Chelsea with adequate shopping and food Choises.

Staff was very helpful

Door lock didn’t work. Nice other than that.

Jetted tub in room. Very relaxing and clean

Room was not clean, bed was not change from prior customer!!!! Air conditioning unit did not work!!

The bedding and the beds were clean and comfortable. The floors and carpet were dirty. There was black mold? In the tub. Not enough towels in the bathroom. The fitness room was all in disrepair. There was a cockroach and large spider in the breakfast room.

Staff is great!

This hotel should have been renovated 20 years ago. There are only two to chose from in Chelsea. The other one had reviews that suggested bed bugs. That said, we selected this hotel. We didn't see any bugs in the room, but the whole place is incredibly ragged and run down. Wallpaper peeling from the bathroom wall, strong mildew smell, patched up holes in the hallways. It's rough. That said, the hotel desk employee did tell us that in the next year, it's going to be renovated and will become a Hilton. So, there is that silver lining.

Ken at the front desk went out of his way to be sure my wife and I had a good room and were made to feel comfortable
