Hampton Inn Chelsea, Mi

Great location. Friendly staff. Great shower water pressure. Little freezers in the refrigerator.

Very few electrical outlets in convenient locations. Room updates needed.

Gym was outdated. Machine broke.

Oh the guy that checked us was jumpy and spraying himself with some stuff. I don’t know what . Saying stuff like it’s hot in here. I think he may been high or something . anyway we did get checked in. I don’t know. The place is just outdated kind of run down a bit. I had to clean the AC filters cause they were so dirty. my towels, smelt stale and had stains on them. Yeah they just they need to clean it up maybe be updated a bit. I mean there is wear on the chairs in our room and on the bottom of the bed there mark long on the wall or something could have been a lot better.

Ground floor room lacked sheer curtains, and the room was very humid. Front desk staff was wonderfully nice and helpful. They made note of the above and said the concerns would be addressed.

Location

The room 316 had a damp feeling and smelled like it had been smoked in. Carpet seemed damp like it had been shampooed but wasn’t completely dry. Even the bedding felt a little like it hadn’t been in the dryer long enough. The AC worked good but we wished it was adjustable so it wasn’t blowing directly on us in bed. The pool room was not comfortable (Too hot) when trying to sit poolside. Hot tub was out of order.

Location and price were good. Staff was super friendly.

Bathroom needed a little sprucing up. Tub caulking needs refresh, and the repair of a shower rod left duct tape showing where it shouldn’t have been.
