Marriott's Legends Edge at Bay Point

First time staying at this property and will never return. As a Marriott Executive owner, I am very, very disappointed. We stayed in a 2BR Villa, which was absolutely disgusting. The bedroom lock off smelled of terrible body order, laminate floors were filthy and sticky, hair on the bathroom floor, and the list continues. We went to the local WalMart, to buy disinfectant, wall air fresheners and a swiffer mop. As well as, slept with the patio door and fan to try and rid the place of the terrible odor to no avail. I am convinced that they only changed the sheets and added fresh towels. Aside from the lack of housekeeping, the two buildings were rundown. Mexico properties are better than this place. Not only was it dirty but it definitely is not in the nice part of town. I was caught between a tourist trap and the ghetto. So disgusting. Needless to say, 400k Bonvoy points, plus cash out of pocket, and an hour drive West, we ended up renting a Marriott home for the remainder of our stay here in Florida. Do better Marriott Vacation Club. Especially, now that you have raised owners fees a great deal over the last few years. Fees are ridiculous and this is what owners receive in return?!

I loved this place! The room for eight was spacious and updated. The best part for my family was the amenities. There was plenty to do… there’s a gym, a movie room, mini golf, and the pool area has ping pong, cornhole, volleyball and more. I think what I liked best was the extra activities provided by staff. There was ceramic painting and glass etching. My daughter and I painted mason jars which was really enjoyable. We participated in a cornhole competition and there was even a designated time for root beer floats! I highly recommend this place for families who need a little bit of variety for everyone! We’ll be back! Oh…. And the staff was awesome! Incredibly friendly and helpful! 5 star staff all around!!!!

Nice property, only thing negative was the floor. It doesnt seem like it gets mopped often, had to wear slip ons the whole time.

A very nice place to relax and enjoy. The room just wonderful and so confortable. You can visit very nice beaches like Rosemary and Santa Rosa Beach. The Pier Park in Panama City Beach is also a must place if you like shopping.

I liked the customer service at front desk,the daily activities.What I didn’t like was it wasn’t any type of breakfast bar available.

Great staff at check- in & rec room. Very clean property

Our condo inside was good except they put us right by trash bin shute and elevator on first floor. I had to call the office at 2 am when i was woken up by people shouting outside our door.

I like how big the suites were. It was perfect for my family of 5
