Sam's Town Hotel & Casino, Shreveport

We had a really good time, but the bed was so hard. Other than that the room was spacious, bathroom clean and well equipped. Staff was polite and helpful.

We stayed there yet room was never cleaned. We tried to get information from the front desk and the lady was very rude and unhelpful. This was not a good stay

Easy check in and out from phone, nice live band Saturday night, large clean room.

Price was ok. Hotel was not very clean and had a musty odor.

It was clean, but smelled musty, the maid came in and sprayed air freshner which helped. The refrigerator was not working, but maintaince came and replaced it. One of the phones was not working well, maintance replaced it, but i got another phone which did not work well, i just left that alone because the other phone worked fine. Overall it was a nice place to stay, there were homeless people that hung around otside the front of the hotel fumbling through the trash and picking up used cigarettes.

Would have been nice to have a couple of chairs to be able to sit in while watching tv. There was a chair for the desk area but not a comfortable chair to lounge in. Sitting on the side of the bed to watch tv doesn’t work. There was plenty of room in the room for a couple of chairs.

We did enjoy the pool and the jacuzzi pool. Although there was a sign stating POOL CLOSED, we were told it was ok to use it. There was another couple using the pool while we were. It's not promoted much, but we enjoyed the quiet surroundings. We ate in Smoking Joe's for breakfast. The decor was interesting. The only issue was it wasn't crowded but everyone was set right next to each other. A customer by us talked on his phone for 30+ minutes loud enough for everyone to be annoyed. You can't control a customer but you can put some distance between them. We stayed on the 16th floor and when we stepped off the elevator every time, we could catch a high from the weed being smoked in a room near the elevator lobby.
