Blue Water Resort

We had a great ocean view room!! Definitely not a fan of "Pet Friendly" though. The thought of an animal's dander everywhere is far from appealing. Pet dander stays for months, regardless of HEPA air filters or purifiers. The rooms were definitely "beach sand" considered in the designing phase for the non carpeted multi-colored flooring in the rooms. One might say its a good thing. Upon changing into my beach attire I walked the floor barefooted, it was cold and I felt sand from previous occupants - We had just checked. Other than that it was a fun stay, the beach is beautiful. We had pizza in the restaurant and it was great!!

Their beach was gorgeous , plenty of lounge chairs beautiful flowers and greenery , Felt Tropical. No worries, just enjoy yourself, It was also great to have a couple of restaurants on site.

I had a bad experience on the phone trying to reschedule due to jury duty. So since they would not let me reschedule I had to ask for a one time postponement on my jury duty. Anyway it was a really nice hotel. Quiet,clean and my room was spacious. I had an ocean view room which was perfect! I wish I had a longer time to stay but maybe next time. I did not get to use the indoor hot tub but it looked nice. The bar was so so (Jonah’s) but nothing to write home about. I’d love to go back in the summer to get the full experience! I

Whatvi like the most was the easy acces to their private beach with chairs and umbrellas. The dally activities were nice for children and adults, nice bar by the pool. Easy check in and check out. Just the dinning room needs to have more food options.

Not very clean on the amenities

This is a great place to stay if you want a few days of beach time with everything provided for you. The convenience of a private beach with loungers, pool, towels, and a cute little beach bar is great. The king sized bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the keurig in the room didn’t work, and coffee in the lobby would have be a nice touch. Instead we walked next door to a cafe at a neighboring resort and bought coffee. Also the $25/night surprise parking fee seemed a bit excessive.

Being close to the beach

The room wasn’t worth the money, the stove kept on shutting off, the smell of gas and room it self was tiny.

We had a nice experience. Our 2 bed 2 bath suite was very cute - the kids loved the bunk beds. Having a kitchen was nice. Room was clean and modern. A tv in every room. Working AC and internet worked ok. The beach is gorgeous and clean. The kid pool at Riviera is a nice design, with a bridge and tunnel and mushroom waterfall feature. Wish the Riviera pool had a deeper than 4’ Tho, bc the adult pool at Blue Water was good, but we had to split up our kids 8 and 3 bc one pool did not fit all. Little guy couldnt stand in bigger pool. My main gripes : on site poolside lunch options were all fried and kid-oriented. I’m not a health nut, but having one salad option or protein that wasn’t fried would have been nice. We decided to eat offsite for every meal bc there was nothing much for grownups to eat. Note that you can’t walk anywhere from this hotel, like you could in Dennis or Hyannis or PTown, so assume driving to every meal or activity. Staff was hit or miss. One lady at front desk got us a full sized crib which was awesome. Most of the staff was not around and not many were super friendly. But we didn’t need much. The website advertises beach toys for kids but after we arrived I was told they no longer offer that, so my kids were disappointed. Beach towels are teeny tiny and run out immediately - you should bring your own. Shower towels also teeny tiny. A lot of amazing restaurants in the area btw Yarmouth and Hyannis and Pirates Cove mini golf was so great we went twice!
