Blue Water Resort

Really nice resort. Staff is friendly. Rooms are nice. Highly recommend

Second time we’ve gone - and loved it both times. Perfect for families and pets. Staff is kind and friendly. A little more crowded in August than in late May, but being on a private beach on the Cape is so nice. Good old fashioned beach vacation!

Our dog friendly expensive room was in the worst location at Blue Water! We were facing the parking lot.. cars coming in and out.. car alarms going off..extensive noise… our view was the parking lot.. no place to walk the dog and people parking light were in the window it was terrible! We left a day early!! Awful experience

PROS: Great location right on the ocean, chair and umbrella setup with private beach, rooms were a generous size. CONS: Felt nickel and dimed for all the extras, including all the food and beverage. Lots of added fees. Rooms and buildings were in need of an upgrade. Staff was very unfriendly.

We enjoyed our stay but felt as some of amenities could be improved. Housekeeping unfortunately didn't speak English very well and didn't understand I wanted her to come back to clean. The dining options were very limited. The rooms were okay, but the bottom of one of bathroom doors was damaged, one of the faucets in the shower leaked to the lower faucet and the bathroom door was extremely hard to open and close. The location was fantastic proximity to the ocean but the pool was always full. For the amount of money per room and then the parking fees and resort fees, it seemed expensive. The front desk staff and the spa staff were very friendly!!

We love the resort, been coming here for over 10 years. Unfortunately this year we encountered a bunch of problems. We reserved a specific room on the 1st floor because I am disabled and it had a kitchen. But someone moved us to the 2nd floor. Jeff Streeter was very helpful in finding us another room for the night since someone was in our original room for 1 more night. The room did not have a kitchen and we spent a decent part of our next day moving all our stuff into the room we were supposed to be in. There were other issues as well, with a barking dog for hours and the kitchen in room 404 . We were very disappointed with how things went on our vacation since we had very high hopes for it seeing as we’ve been coming here for years,.

We love the beach.
