Our room was poor. The only window was a sky light and the bed was placed directly below it so, although it had a blind, it didnt fit very well and we were woken early in the morning with light in our eyes. We had to move our pillows to the other end of the bed to continue to get some rest!

Heated towel rail in bathroom. Very clean. Great lounge space with fab view of golf course. Good for a golfing break.
Hotel guests shouldn’t have to pay to use the spa facilities. No toiletries in room and had to ask for them. Side of bathtub peeling away. Toilet roll that kept on falling off the holder! No fridge in room. Shower power was feeble -assume it’s an electric shower.

No air con, stains on carpets near radiators in hallways. Towel rails in bathrooms blazing hot couldn't turn off in a sunbathed room had to sleep with door open to get some kind of breeze. Staff seemed deflated and a tad grumpy and rude. Kind of dampened my before wedding night to be honest. Elevators not working also
CAThe hallways are decorated with some beautiful original artworks. Soft bedding. The bar/breakfast area is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and well stocked. Lovely views in most directions. If you are a golfer, it’s a perfect spot to start and end the day.
Radiators in the hallway had clearly leaked at some point, leaving massive rusty stains on the carpet. Some signs of age/wear and tear in the rooms and lounge furniture. Booked for our family because the property was advertised as having a pool but, in reality, it’s a hydrotherapy pool that is a part of the spa and only for guests over 16. Apparently the staff have noticed guests from booking.com complaining about this so there’s obviously something they need to update on their listing. There was a wedding on our side of the hotel and the noise really travelled up to our room.
GBBreakfast was very good albeit costing £20 each per day. My room was ok and didn’t have air conditioning only a noisy potable tower fan. When I went to use the shower we had no water so not great when attending a wedding in an hours time.
No water for a shower. Nasty water stains in the hallway where the radiator has leaked. No air conditioning in the rooms. Expensive breakfast. Difficult to wheel my mother in law around in her wheelchair as there was big bumps joining the carpet and no lifts to one of the floors and outside was extremely hilly.
