AUWe were attending a wedding at the venue so it was very convenient to be able to stay overnight. The breakfast was very good the next day.
The room was uncomfortably cold with no way to turn on the radiator or access any alternative heating. There was also no hot water at all in the evening of our stay and the morning after, meaning we had to take cold showers. For the price of the hotel, this was extremely disappointing and not acceptable. We raised the issue with reception during our stay but were not given a satisfactory response or solution. As we were unable to use the room comfortably, we believe a full or at least partial refund should have been offered. Disappointing.

Generally maintenance throughout hotel was poor and It’s looking dated. Room good size,“Formica” work surfaces chipped, soft furnishings stained, fridge had obviously been removed leaving gap in unit. Smallest flat screen TV ever in any hotel I have stayed at. Bathroom was good size but loo seat was loose, grout fallen out from tiles, three floor tiles cracked, sealant around shower mouldy,
