Tienen un tipo de cambio que ellos estipulan más alto al oficial y en base a eso te quieren cobrar y la suma se eleva, por lo que no están respetando el costo que aparece en booking. La cerveza pacífico solamente se la ofrecían a extranjeros, nos dijeron que no contaban con ella y después vimos como la servían a extranjeros.

We had a wonderful stay at Buganvilias Resort. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. A special thank you to Berenice Torres, who did an excellent job keeping our room spotless and comfortable. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the great service and would gladly stay here again

Had an overall great week stay at the Sheraton with all-inclusive package via TripCentral Canada, March 10 2026. Weather was perfect all week…sunny and warm all day every day. Puerto Vallarta was completely back to normal after the February incident. Felt completely safe walking around town with the usual precautions for Mexico. Many guests we met have been coming to this Sheraton for over 30 years! Checkin was smooth and fast. We had not booked a room with balcony but asked to see one…which they accommodated. We decided the balconies were not worth the cost…and the balconies themselves are long, narrow and only in rooms on the lower floors…so not much ocean view from those rooms. We were on floor 21, so not in the upper floor “club” rooms, but the room was clean and spacious. All rooms have wall-to-wall windows and are west facing, so great ocean and sunset views. Even saw whales once! Air conditioning worked perfectly. TV/remote worked fine, but could only find one English channel….the TV offered Netflix and other premium channels but none of them worked. Fridge in room was stocked with a few sodas, waters, juice, beer and peanuts. We used a few of these and they were restocked once automatically and once when we requested. Room was made up daily if desired. Two locks on the door, access with a room card. Safe in room worked perfectly. The entire property is well maintained and beautiful. Gardens are amazing with a wide variety of beautiful plants, trees and flowers. Washrooms all kept very clean. The property is very wide so you can take long walks on property. No mosquitoes! Wifi across the entire property was excellent. (free for Bonvoy members). The two pools were great, water temperature just right, large, clean. Close to hotel, so not a lot of walking. No stairs in the way. Lots of available good quality chairs most of which had shade umbrellas. People of course reserved chairs with towels early in the day, even though the hotel has signs saying it is not allowed. Poolside drink/food service was excellent and fast. Pools are great for kids of all ages. Each pool has a very shallow kids section. The main pool has fairly loud music all day, while the smaller pool has none. Each pool has a swim up bar. All the bars have premium drinks available but you have to ask. Lobby bar had the best selection. Fitness room was large, bright and very well equipped with latest tech. Open 24 hours. You are allowed unlimited a la carte restaurant bookings, but you have to reserve at front desk from 8 to noon daily. Punta Sal was our favourite. Food across the resort was very good. At all the a la cartes they ask if you have food allergies and will accommodate. Service was excellent and friendly by everyone at the restaurants – servers, hosts, DJs, cooks. Lots of daily activities, including water volleyball, aqua fit, stretch class, bracelet making, keychain making, bocce ball, wine/tequila/margarita/mojito tasting, blackjack, poolside contests. Special mention to the activity staff. Top notch all around. Jimena and Mariana were friendly, motivational, outgoing, happy, smiling, full of positive energy. They made the week very fun! Beach was not very good at hotel. Large waves, very sloped, rocky, grainy sand. Very few people went in. There are lots of chairs on the sand, all under grass huts. The hotel has no activities for the ocean. Minor Complaints - Sink inroom bathroom was very poorly designed. - Toilets are the low ones, not the “right height” ones, so for older folk may be a little hard to use. A grab bar would be nice. - The toilet area in room has a frosted glass door…with which we were a little uncomfortable. Doesn’t give enough privacy. - Bathroom fan and light switch are combined. Would have preferred to be able to turn off the light overnight while running fan so that our bathing suits would dry. - If you are stopped by someone in the lobby area to chat….its probably a time share or tour person. They aren’t aggressive….just move on.

Sheraton all inclusive is perfectly located close to airport and Zona Romantica! Check-in: quick and easy but immediately imposed on attending the famous presentation of timeshares. After a 61/2 hour flight, you are tired and just want to get settled. Room: reserved a king bed grand ocean view we were on 19th floor with a spectacular view but right above the Embarcardero venue. We were woken up around midnight and I couldn’t sleep until 2:30 pm from loud music and people chanting! Again, first night long flight and trying to have a restful vacation. And, shower head wasn’t working properly. Next morning went to front desk and we got switched to 21st floor where we noticed it was Club members section. It was way better and more quiet on most days. All rooms had a great view some were more comfortable than others and we definitely noticed a difference between Club and non Club even if we paid top dollar for the grand ocean view room. Closets are small! Shower heads 🚿 had issues and toilet was starting to leak last 2 days of our trip. Restaurants: we thought the Asian was included but it was not! You need to check menus and be sure to ask what is included. The grandeur of this hotel and to only have 3 choices daily to book between 8:00-noon daily is ridiculous!! I came after noon one day because of our excursion and Alejandra just wouldn’t budge informed us that they were booked. I’m not kidding, because of all issues right now the hotel restaurants were not even full - like 3-4 people at Gaviotas one night and most restaurants were closed. The Villeta was pretty good for breakfast and once for dinner was ok. The staff at Viletta was pretty amazing! Erika was singing and joyful every day and was exactly what this place needs more people like her! Alfresco one night on Saturday night staff was so drunk that they broke a bunch of wine glasses and service was so delayed that we just got up to leave with no dessert. Everyone except Freddy was working hard and very professional. Restaurants are lacking choice and I cannot say any really stood out. Drinks: Jorge at pool bar and Isabel served us very well! Juan Carlos at Embarcadero was the best bartender! Overall mixed experience and Not sure if I would go back!

The Sheraton is in a good location, with nice pools, a good breakfast buffet, friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. I recently stayed for 10 nights and I love this place. I opted for the breakfast buffet only which was a good size with lots of options including fresh fruits and baked goods. All the staff are friendly and helpful, the amenities such as the pools, fitness centre, lounge and common areas are clean, well maintained and modern. The hotel is walking distance to everything, about a 30+ minute walk to the start of the Malecon. One key reason for selecting the Sheraton was the beach but unfortunately it was too rocky and possibly unsafe for swimming, there was always a red flag and never anyone swimming there. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone

The Sheraton Buganvilias is a very nice hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The pools are amazing . The rooms are getting dated and some were musty. Our shower floods our bathroom every time. The floor is always wet. But the room is clean and the views are nice. Food is good. The newer surf and turf restaurant is disappointing in that the included items for all-inclusive were very limited. The Italian restaurant is good. Gaviato's restaurant is a culinary experience. But overall. The staff are friendly and it is a nice place to stay. For such a large all-inclusive resort, I would hope they would've had a few more included restaurants.

The activities are awesome! Made an adorable keychain with Jimena. She made the activity fun, easy, and entertaining. Do the activities, seriously.
