Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta

Televisions were broke three times before finally got one had no Internet pretty much all week except for two days was told restaurant hours and not accurately told Resturant was closed. Was forced to go to my room and put on shoes which were sneakers because of the closed toe, not allowing a sandal. The sandal was as nice as any sandal little women would wear. I paid over $150 for them, but they didn’t have a close toe man but yet a woman is allowed to wear a sandal after I got to the room put on appropriate shoes for their rule got back down. The restaurant closes at 10, but they don’t serve after 9:30 so I was not able to order food. I had to go to the front desk and complained to management and they finally delivered room service with a steak to my room. I had a guest come into the hotel and had to pay $127 American to visit in public places with a friend. I find that quite unreasonable I would be glad to be fact checked on anything. Went to get a beer out of the mini bar covered with crap all over the beer not sure how anybody would put that in for a customer to handle. Will take to the front desk in the morning before I leave staying another week but I will stay at a different hotel. I don’t think it’s appropriate to charge me $127 when I paid for two people only had one in the room and I did an all-inclusive pay giving them over $8000 and still charge an additional $127 I find that exorbitant and would be glad to the fact check of course.

Our maid Maria Ibal did a fantastic job keeping our unit clean everyday. Very friendly and supportive when issues occurred in the area of PTo V in February

This was our 13th stay at the Sheraton. Why, it is simply the staff that make you feel so unbelievably welcomed, special and make the Sheraton feels like a home away from home. We were there through the Cartel issues in PV. The staff, most notably the buffet staff stayed. Let me repeat that.. they stayed to make sure the guests were taken care of. They stayed even though some were concerned for their own families. They spent the night at the hotel, some only getting 2-3 hours of sleep. People that must be recognized more as friends then people that work at the Sheraton. The ones that truly make us return every year are: Orlando/Jesus (Buffet Breakfast/Lunch), Oliver/ Ringo (Buffet Breakfast/Lunch), Gama (Pool Staff), Mariano (Pool Staff), Gabriel (Pool Staff) Marco (Pool Staff). From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU gentleman! It is not the resort itself that makes our stay memorable each year. It is seeing your kindness and care in everything that your do!

I would strongly encourage future guests to review the details carefully before booking. This resort is advertised as all-inclusive, but in practice it feels more like partially inclusive. Guests are unable to receive alcoholic beverages before 10:00 AM unless they pay extra, and all-inclusive wristbands are not issued until after 2:00 PM on the day of check-in, which limits access to benefits that many travelers expect upon arrival. In addition, we reserved ground-level rooms months in advance, yet at check-in we were informed that those rooms were not available and that room requests are not guaranteed, despite booking early. This was surprising, particularly since the resort appears to be operating well below capacity due to recent events. The beach is gravel, not sand. Overall, this experience was disappointing and did not align with the expectations created when booking an all-inclusive stay.

An easy walk to the malacan shopping district. Both Pools at resort were beautiful.

The beach is a pebble beach, and ocean has large jagged rocks so not conducive to beach and water play if that is your thing

Had a very nice stay here. Room was well appointed with safe, mini bar, hair dryer. Ac worked well. Resort was quite clean. Pools were nice with swim up bars. Staff were pleasant. Lots of available seating near pool and on beach. Beach a little rocky, but only a short walk to nicer area. Location good for walking to downtown and lots of restaurants and bars near by. Good food and a variety of options with 3 restaurants and a buffet. Would definitely stay here again.
