החדרים מרווחים, גם חדר המקלחת והשירותים. המיטות נוחות. ארוחת הבוקר עשירה ומגוונת עם ירקות, גבינות, נקניקים וביצים. צוות הקבלה מסביר פנים.

הזמנו חדר עם 2 מיטות וכשהגנו נאמר שיש רק חדר עם מיטה זוגית. בלית ברירה נאלצנו להסכים ואז גילינו שהמזגן בחדר לא עובד כלל. חזרנו ללובי ושם מצאו פתאום חדר אחר עם שתי מיטות אבל התברר שגם בו המזגן לא עובד. רק אז עידכנה פקידת הקבלה שיש להם בעייה במזגנים. (לצידנו הופיעו עוד מתארחים שדרשו מיד את כספם בחזרה ולעזוב את המלון, הטמפרטורה בחוץ הייתה 36 מעלות צלסיוז). לבסוף הסכמנו לעבור שוב לחדר שלישי מספר 201 אבל עם מיטה זוגית שבו המזגן עובד חלקית אלא שאז התגלה לנו שבקומה השניה דלת המעלית לא נפתחת בשל תקלה ואז נאלצנו לסחוב את המזוודות במדרגות. האחראית בקבלה הציעה שהפקידה הצעירה השניה של הקבלה תסחוב לנו את המזוודות במדרגות, אך לזה לא הסכמנו בשום אופן שבחורה צעירה כבת 20 תסחוב מזוודות במעלה המדרגות. אנחנו בני 75 פלוס ולא היה בתורנות הקבלה בערב אף גבר לסייע. התחושה הכללית היתה של כאוס ובלאגן של מלון שבמצב טכני לקוי ולא מתריע מראש למתארחים. הייתי מצפה שבמצב שכזה יגדיל המלון ראש וידאג מבעוד מועד לשריין לאורחים חדרים במלון סמוך ברמה דומה ולא יקבע מצב של ״זה מה שיש ברגע זה״. אנחנו מכירים את רשת מלונות NH כמלונות מוצלחים והפעם, לצערנו, התאכזבנו לחלוטין.
