Kona Coast Resort

The nice housing . It was clean and all appliances and bathrooms worked. The pool and hot tubs were really nice . Many people were busy maintaining the property daily and it reflected in the beautiful condition of the place . The restaurant was decent and the live entertainment was a bonus.

The ownership pitch was rough .

This resort was amazing. They have activities for all ages. Every night you could go down to the pool bar and watch the sunset over the ocean with a different entertainment every night. They even have their own luau. The resort was very clean, inside and out. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was amazing. Pools n hot tubs very nice. Only bad thing about the stay was the disappointing food at restaurant. 30$ for 2 tiny piece of fish and like 20 French fries. Won't order anything from there next time we stay. Besides that. Place was GREAT!!! WILL BE RECOMMENDING this resort to everyone.

Restaurant was not good at all.

Found bed bugs in the “emergency room” after first room with crawling bugs on the couch failed us. Two rooms- Buildings 12 & 17 were infested. Had to leave due to unsanitary conditions and unsafe for our children who were sitting on the couch before we discovered them. Unfortunately, management and the front desk are not there past 10 PM and we were not able to speak with them until 2 days after. Management was very professional and provided a refund. We ended up spending $100s more after being uprooted, trying to find another place to stay. If you’re looking for something clean and sanitary, I’d go somewhere else. The room requires a key for the air-conditioning. As soon as we walked in, the room smelled very stale and you could tell it was dirty. In addition, this resort should be fumigated and upgraded- or just torn down. I don’t even think a third round /room would’ve made us feel any better. Psychologically we were freaked out - feeling like there’s bugs crawling days after being there. The rooms were large and they have garages to park your vehicle in. But beware of those garages -they have huge cockroaches inside of them.
