Royal Kona Resort

Fiquei hospedado por 3h no hotel, devido a meu voo ter sido cancelado. Check in demorou um pouco, mesmo sendo as 02h da manhã.

A acomodação nem o booking querem me enviar o recibo, dizendo que é responsabilidade de um e do outro, e até agora eu não consegui pedir meu reembolso para a Delta.

Beautiful views, excellent food, ideal location, and fabulous stay.

The only thing that comes to mind is wishing they served espresso. Their coffee was decent, but no fresh cream or half and half. For this level of hotel, I believe it should be standard.

We spent 4 nights here in an ocean front room in the Bay Tower. The room was clean and spacious though very basic. The view from our balcony was gorgeous! The exterior of the resort looks fairly worn with paint chipping and weather related wear and tear, but the main areas and the oceanfront bar and restaurant are well maintained and very attractive. The food is fair to good for lunch and dinner. Poor to fair for breakfast ( super short walk to better breakfast places). The staff are vrry friendly and accommodating. You absolutely can not beat the location. We easily walked to many different restaurants and stores on the main street. Again, the views are stunning from this resort and the price was very good. We would definitely stay here again!

I love this property. The bar and restaurant are great and beautifully situated at the water. Pool is really nice. All the employees were great - front desk, housekeeping, bar restaurant and security (I needed first aid for a stupid accident that was my fault!). It was our second time there, we’ll be back.

Our visit to the Royal Kona Resort was amazing. The atmosphere, location, and overall feeling were great. The General Manager, Jay Rubenstein, was helpful and friendly, and his staff was very nice. We loved the renovations done to the property, and the rooms were very oceanic with the blue colors. We loved our Ocean View room, being able to hear and see the ocean and take it all in. It has the look and feel of being right on the ocean in a huge boat. We highly recommend the Royal Kona Resort. A Hui Hou!

Hallways and exterior (balcony overhangs) are a bit dated looking. Bathroom could have been larger, especially for the ocean view junior suite. But overall satisfactory. Bed was comfortable.

If you want to stay in Kona, I recommend this hotel. Excellent location. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice with large balconies. You can hear the ocean crash onto the shore and walk along the Kona waterfront for food & drink. The hotel has a nice oceanfront restaurant and bar. The hotel also has a wonderful saltwater area to swim and relax. If you are sensitive to noise, don't stay in the Kona Village side of Bay Tower. The noise from the nearby restaurant and bar is very loud.
