The bedding configuration is not guaranteed and will be confirmed upon arrival, subject to availability. Lagoon Tower Improvement Project - Royal Kona Resort is consisted of of three individual towers in which guestrooms are located - Alii Tower, Bay Tower and Lagoon Tower. Exterior restoration work is taking place at the Lagoon Tower, located on the southern end of the resort property. No exterior restoration work is taking place at the Alii Tower or the Bay Tower. Guests booking the Royal Kona Resort will be accommodated exclusively in the Alii Tower or the Bay Tower, unless they have specifically chosen to book rooms located in the Lagoon Tower, which are being offered at a discounted rate and identified as "Lagoon Tower Renovation Rates". Resort guests may see scaffolding, repair work and painting occurring to the Lagoon Tower. While every effort will be made to minimize noise, resort guests may hear some work being done. Project work on the Lagoon Tower is restricted between 9am and 4pm. Our Lagoon Tower Improvement Project will continue through December 31, 2025 (subject to change)Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Perfect getaway!"

Front desk clerk was the perfect Aloha Ambassador. Loved the music and the bar food was excellent!!

Ramp to parking lot would be helpful for people with disabilities. Also the shower/tub should have a hand bar.

"Royal Kona Resort Rocks"

I love the Royal Kona Resort. The staff is amazing. This was our 2nd time staying. We had an ocean view room. Slept with the sliders open to listen to the ocean. We also could watch the luau from our balcony. We were within walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. The resort has a restaurant with a bar. Great food and cocktails. Also great sunsets. We live on Kauai and this place is a great getaway.

Die Lage des Hotels ist klasse. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars, die zum flanieren einladen.

Wir waren in den Leuchtturmgebäude oder wie d.h. Das gehört einfach abgerissen. Es ist durch. Zu unserer Zeit war das auch schon eine Baustelle. Die Teppichböden im Zimmer waren so dreckig und modrig, dass weiße Socken nach 2 Minuten braun wurden, vom drüber laufen. Dringend sanierungsbedürftig alles.

"Exceptional"

The location is fantastic. Right by ali'i drive and walkable to the main areas for restaurants, cafes, tourist shops, etc. Views were amazing as well.

Exterior could use some updates, which it seems like they've started (the tower was under construction while we were staying). The pool needs redone, there were some loose tiles in the little shallow pool. The elevator is very slow, so be patient.
