The bedding configuration is not guaranteed and will be confirmed upon arrival, subject to availability. Lagoon Tower Improvement Project - Royal Kona Resort is consisted of of three individual towers in which guestrooms are located - Alii Tower, Bay Tower and Lagoon Tower. Exterior restoration work is taking place at the Lagoon Tower, located on the southern end of the resort property. No exterior restoration work is taking place at the Alii Tower or the Bay Tower. Guests booking the Royal Kona Resort will be accommodated exclusively in the Alii Tower or the Bay Tower, unless they have specifically chosen to book rooms located in the Lagoon Tower, which are being offered at a discounted rate and identified as "Lagoon Tower Renovation Rates". Resort guests may see scaffolding, repair work and painting occurring to the Lagoon Tower. While every effort will be made to minimize noise, resort guests may hear some work being done. Project work on the Lagoon Tower is restricted between 9am and 4pm. Our Lagoon Tower Improvement Project will continue through December 31, 2025 (subject to change)Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Kona staycation 2026"

This is our fourth stay here at the Royal Kona, and we love staying here. We had s great time on our staycation, as we do live here on Big Island. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating, and guest saying I as we passed. Dane was great at the beautiful open bar, as he made the best drinks. Julia in the general store was So friendly , and I gave to call out the pool attendants that were amazing and remembered us from the last visit! I felt a little uncomfortable at check in as the lady who checked us is was not the most welcoming, she was just very to the point and very business. It was such a good stay and the check in was water under the bridge after we headed to out ocean front room!

Die Lage war gut! In der Nähe gute Restaurants. Auch Hotel Bar und Restaurant sind zu empfehlen. Sauber , Pool super.

Fenster sehr hellhörig, man hört wirklich alles von der Straße !

We truly enjoyed our stay! The live music featuring Ricki Kamai on Saturday was outstanding and brought such a great atmosphere with its variety of music. The hotel was clean, walkable to nearby shops, and the pool and food service were excellent. A special thank you to Justice for the warm hospitality and wonderful recommendations that made us feel right at home. Also, housekeeping was incredibly prompt and efficient, which made our experience even more pleasant. Thank you for such a memorable stay!
