Royal Hideaway Playacar All Inclusive - Adults only

We really enjoyed the location, resort and staff here. The beach was beautiful, with great views and delicious food. The resort and local shops don’t like to offer change for bills you get from the ATM, so plan ahead and get smaller bills before going to Mexico if you can, otherwise you’re basically spending $25 minimum every time you pay cash. You can pay card for things but it vibes with a percentage markup.

This was my 5th time staying at this resort. The staff is great and service is excellent.

The resort was very clean. Staff very nice and helpful. Great gym equipment. Steak house and hibachi were very good.

Love the traditional feel of this resort. The small relaxing pools give you secluded lagoon feel. Everyone was so amazing & helpful, EXCEPT Armando. He was our pavilion concierge. He wouldnt work with us at all. Put every dinner reservation @ 8 or 8:30. Didn't even book dinner for our last night. When they changed consierges on our ladt day, our new concierge was fabulous! She called up & got us a last minute reservation for 6pm. Prearranged our breakfast to arrive at a specific time before our departure.

I really like the experience, everything at the hotel was excellent. I just have one issue. My grandma lost the her gold necklace and we weren't able to find.

Quite and classic.

We have been to over 30 resorts over the years and the Royal Hideaway is far and away the best we have ever stayed at. The amazing staff, the food and the attention to detail was off the charts. This is one of the very few resorts I would ever return to.

We had a very good time at the hotel. There is room for improvement, but we would return!

This was a smaller resort which was wonderful, the staff was amazing and attentive to your every need, making you feel like family, not just a number. food was excellent, with quality choices and ingredients, the food presentation was second to none. Cleanliness of the resort was awesome, some of the relax pools are in need of attention, but they were actively working on that while we were there. We have been to the Riviera Maya ten times in the past 8 years and have never stayed at the same resort twice. This resort will definitely be an exception to the rule as we will definitely be back many more times in the future. Highly recommend this resort if you want a very relaxing and quiet vacation with top notch service, food, and amenities.
