Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade

Next to many restaurants and parks, town squares and Rocket Arena. Beautiful old building, looks like and old train station. The check in experience was not great but the gentleman who checked us out was very nice.

I spent a little extra to get a "city view" but my reservation said "view" which was then explained to me as an "arcade view" which is basically looking out into the middle of the hotel from the window next to your door which of course, one would never keep open. The other room windows were dirty and looked out onto some sort of air unit, a cement floor and a cinder block wall. Horrible. Even with all windows open the room was dark all the time and nobody in their right mind would want to keep the windows open. Keep in mind, the posted room photos are on a bright, sunny day.

Beautiful hotel. My worked booked for a business meeting, there conference rooms are extremely nice and breakfast and lunch were very good. I went to the gym while I was there, and the equipment was better than most hotels I've stayed at. It's in a nice location in downtown Cleveland right across the street from the food and bar street. I just can't get over how beautiful the inside of the building is. Pictures don't do it justice.

I enjoyed the hotel. It is great and I look forward to staying again. The room was good for my needs and the ambiance and location are wonderful.

There was a large bug crawling around the ceiling; for me to get at it I would have had to climb on a chair or a table which I thought was unreasonable. I called the front desk who sent someone to help, he unfortunately was only able to knock the bug off the wall without exterminating it. He then lost site of the bug even after and exhaustive search. I called the front desk to ask for another room…they are fully booked. They had no alternative locations for me and my family to go to and I have an eight hour drive home tomorrow. So right now I am sleeping fully clothed in my bed which to my best guess still has the bug crawling around in this vicinity.

Beautiful facility

Rooms were outdated

Unsafe location and very poor service. Housekeeping came daily but never cleaned the room, made the bed or replaced the towels. No water in room. There was a coffee and coffee machine but no cups. Very very disappointing. Toilet was not flushing, told the front desk they never took care of it. The beds are very uncomfortable the pillows suck, the mattress very uncomfortable, there is no quilt cover. The Hyatt standard has dropped so disappointing.
