"This was a comfortable stay and the staff was remarkable-from front desk to those who waited tables."

Breakfast was good. It was handy without having to leave the hotel. The Depot has so much history still on display from the days it was the city’s train depot. The restaurant had a wonderful outdoor dining area and the weather was perfect.

"One night getaway"

My husband and I stayed for a night as a quick getaway. All of the staff we encountered were wonderful. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed walking around reading the history of the depot. It is a really cool building. We had breakfast at the buffet and it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

"Very average but nothing really wrong about it."

Visited Minneapolis for a wedding. The Renaissance was mostly average, with nothing extraordinarily good or bad to say about it. If anything we thought the room was a bit dark and the bathroom was a bit small. On the other hand the location was very good, walking distance from the River Walk and from many restaurants and shops in the Downtown Area, although it didn't feel very safe to be walking around. The bed was comfortable and the hotel felt safe. We spent some time in the Lobby Bar after checking-out, it was cozy and the staff was friendly.
