Hotel Casona Los Vitrales

It was a very nice hotel, nice building and rooms very modern and clean, with lovely details, beautiful bed setting and cannot beat the price so cheap for that kind of hotel. Management guy was very helpful. Paking available, centrally located. The only thing was that the room was a little cold, we visited Zacatecas during one of the coldest winter days. But other than that the hotel is worth every penny. Everything is new and I will definitely come back.

Spent four nights over New Years Eve; this hotel is in the best possible location for exploring this beautiful city. Rooms are exceptionally clean with the only negative being that they are not heated; but that was not an issue even at this time of the year. Also, they offer a special price during the winter making a stay here irresistible!

I stayed at La Casona twice, on November 23 and again on November 29. The rooms are spotless and well-appointed, and although the building is historical, the rooms themselves are modern, and the kingsize beds, after crossing the Sierra Madre from Mazatlan to Durango by car, heavenly. The location is excellent: central and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. And there is off-street parking, a real bonus in Zacatecas. But best of all, you cannot beat the price if you book on the Internet (e.g. through Expedia). I used to stay elsewhere in Zacatecas, but no more: La Casona de los Vitrales will be my first choice if the present standards are kept.
