One of the most lovely places I’ve found to unwind. Room is cozy with every amenity. Staff made us feel like family. Breakfast was delicious! And the patio looking over the ocean was made for meditation!! Absolutely love it. It’s our new go to place.

My wife and I went to the Laguna Art Festival and picked this lovely place to stay on Saturday night. The room was well-appointed and comfortable and being right across the street from the beach made my Sunday morning walk a real pleasure. Each room has its own patio where I sat for a few minutes after my wife went to sleep. Each has a fire pit of its own. The staff was fantastic- friendly, knowledgeable and fexible. For example, we didn't arrive from Laguna until 11 pm and sure enough, the desk clerk was on duty. If I had to point to a problem, it is that they are short a few parking spaces. Bottom line, A+. We'll definitely go again and I recommend it to all other wayfarers (which I understand Caminante translates to).
This place is an absolute gem! It is located directly across the street from Doheny Beach and provides beautiful sunset views every night. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating. The facility is incredibly beautiful and the rooms are clean and decorated with personality and so many unique details. I wish I could live here and can’t wait to return!

This is my second time staying at El Caminante. They have consistently been a wonderful place to stay. The location is phenomenal! The hotel has such romantic details and charm. The bed was so comfortable and plush. The hotel is perfect for a romantic weekend or a solo trip. The staff are amazing!
