1st class staff. Comfortable room. Nice amenities. Location across the street from beach. Nice views. Nice bar. Food available. Love the spanish motif and the retro music players/vinyl. Great choice of tunes in bar area.

This little hotel is a gem. Every aspect of the design and details has been thoughtfully chosen and feels romantic and charming. From the moment we walked on the property to leaving we kept being surprised at some little detail we noticed. Our room even had a record player with records for us to choose from. We listened to Bob Marley on the record player and enjoyed our little patio with Bob on the background. I admit, the rooms are not spacious, but the beauty and details definitely make up for that. The staff was also very friendly and this morning we enjoyed having quiche ordered from the bar and ate it on the patio outside the lounge and bar. It was delicious and lovely!

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing, calming and exceptionally clean room located directly across from the ocean. Excellent cocktail service with yummy breakfast and small plates offerings all day long. Beautifully decorated with exquisite tile work. If you are looking for a place to sprawl indoors, this is not for you, as the bedroom quarters are tight, arranged around a king size bed. Yet, private patios make up for the small inside space. Attention to detail is admirable. It is good to know that wall switches have dimers. As for us older folks, a TV tutorial would be beneficial. Internet service is slow yet steady. All in all, you will enjoy a worthwhile visit to Dana Point and surrounding areas while staying at this lovely seaside hotel.

We felt secluded in a good way and enjoyed our privacy. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower and hot water in the bathroom was immediate and strong. The staff were friendly and assisted us whenever we needed it, replacing towels, lighting the gas fireplace, etc. The gas fireplace outside made for a very cosy enclosed and private evening area to enjoy the sunset. This accommodation suited my husband as I as were had very easy access to the beachfront area to exercise with other locals. We would stay here again.

The rooms are small so it took a bit of getting used to. Also, there are no little shops in walking distance.

This hotel is very charming & for the price I paid, I thought it was worth it. The room was clean & spacious with a fireplace. The bed was comfortable, & the TV had all of the apps I wanted so I didn’t have to airplay. The location was great & I had a lovely view of the ocean. There were hardwood floors & the room had a 1940s feel with velvet couches & crown molding. I liked the decor a lot. The hotel bar served excellent drinks although there weren’t many breakfast options. There’s no real kitchen so its offerings are limited. The windows are not dual paned so you can hear the PCH traffic. If you are sensitive to noise, you may want ear plugs. Again, for the price I paid (under $300) it didn’t bother me. I really feel like I got my monies worth.

Nice design, indoor and outdoor, outdoor fireplaces. We love the bathroom design. Helpfull staff.

The bed is comfy but too big for this room size. We stayed 2 nights but nobody entered to check the room, trash was not taken.

We were very impressed with this Inn and would definitely book again. The upstairs suite was beautifully appointed with fine attention to craftmanship and detail. Our only issue was that because parking was full we had to park across PCH which is dangerous to cross at night.
