L’accueil, le petit déjeuner.

Très très bruyant nous avons eu du bruit tout le long de notre séjour. Bruit de meubles déplacer toute les soirées et voisins de chambre très très bruyant toutes les nuits. Je suis un peu déçu également du ménage dans la chambre pour un hôtel 4 étoiles.

A beautiful hotel. Very clean and well furnished. Our room was spacious with a large balcony. I would have liked more drawer space. The bedside tables would have better if they were cabinets. The bed was enormous! The cleaning staff were excellent and thorough. The food was plentiful and varied although slightly less warm than I would have liked it. A special mention to the reception staff Marah, Sabina and Manuel who were excellent. A special thank you to Marah who went the extra mile for us. She was more informative than our travel rep and was a bit special.

Hotel's indoor spa pool and sauna are all charged services at 25 Euros per hour. Outdoor pool was cold and we needed a warm pool. So forget about swimming in colder months. Entertainment was only on Friday and Sat night for an hour playing a string instrument (we visited mid April). Parking is 21 Euros per day. At breakfast and dinner we had to ask everyday about the dishes contents which irritated the chef sometimes (as we were Veg). Otherwise staff is excellent and hotel is clean.

We stayed over the Easter break and were impressed with the appearance, cleanliness and excellent service from staff. This hotel is beautiful. You are greeted by a gorgeous smelling, aesthetically pleasing, Reception area and staff keen to assist you. Reception staff were very helpful in taking care of our luggage until our room was ready and bringing it up to the room. Facilities Very quiet pool area when we stayed which was perfect for us. We had no trouble at all getting sunbeds the whole week. Pool area is clean and well maintained. Pool towels are provided and can be exchanged for fresh ones each day. Great non slip pool area and plenty of shaded areas. Water was very cold during our stay though. No pool toys/balls are permitted in the pool. Lovely grounds with a small playground and zipline onsite. Surprising that the area immediately adjacent to the playground is not fenced off and access restricted to guests only and anyone can walk onto site which is a little concerning. Small outside gym area and kids club which I think was from ages 4-10. Lovely bar area next to Reception, very small but there was another adjacent seating area which could be used. There was entertainment on for 3 nights out of the 7 we stayed, this may increase over the forthcoming weeks as the season gets into full swing. Food Only one of the three restaurants onsite was open so it was very busy. During our last few days we realised you could order food from the pool bar, but it wasn't advertised anywhere. In the main restaurant, seats are very close together and there is not much room between tables. There is a terraced outside area if you wanted to eat outside. The hotel hosted several large groups of children's sports teams during our stay which spoilt quite a few mealtimes as it was like being in a school canteen. Teenagers and young people not queueing, walking around eating food and not using tongs - we witnessed a group of them running in and out of the restaurant and grabbing handfuls of diced fruit in bowls with their hands which we raised with staff. The food available was the smallest selection I have seen before, but it is a smaller hotel than we have stayed in previously. No children's section for food - so you may struggle if you have fussy eaters. There was always pizza and pasta available - unless the school kids eat it all! Also strangely enough, no ice cream for dessert at any meal. Also no themed days for food, so it was very samey. Food was sometimes not very hot unfortunately. Rooms We had two double beds in our room for a family of four and it was ample space for all of us. The room was cleaned daily, beds made, bins emptied and complimentary bottles of water provided. Very small balcony for this type of room so not much room to dry wet swimwear etc, but perfectly acceptable. Surrounding Area It is about a 10 minute walk to the town and beach. Very few 'proper' shops. All of the same kinds of shops selling 'tat'. Cami de Ronda is a beautiful walk but hard work on the old legs, as is the beautiful walk alongside the Castle. There are some beautiful places to explore but wear trainers and take water and sunscreen It is a beautiful hotel and the staff were fabulous. I would absolutely stay again, only hopefully when they are not hosting hoards of teenagers!!

Goede ligging, mooie tuin met groot zwembad, eigen parkeergarage - tegen betaling- ruime kamer met zeer brede bedden, uitgebreid ontbijt en uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Alles ziet er goed verzorgd uit
