"Long day, long drive in torrential rain . Good to get settled and dine from the fish’s’ chip shop across the road"

Fairly spacious room. Comfortable

Overdue for some R & M and freshen up! Noisy, on SH 1 so trucks all night though probably the same at most motels in Kaikōura

"Lousy but limited options at a busy time."

It was available when accomodation in the town was very limited. Room was good, clean and comfortable. The manager was helpful with advice on restaurants etc.

Noisy - traffic noise all night. Group (6-8) of government electricity department workers or contractors partying outside their rooms until very late immediately next to my unit. Loud tv in the next unit until early AM.

Pet friendly, easy to assess.

No air conditioning and the council stopped the new sidewalk to far from the property. Silly of them.
