Mediterranean Motel Kaikoura

We were told the key will be in the door of unit 2, as we were arriving about 8.30 pm. Beds were comfy to sleep in.

The milk in the fridge was opened and half full, cobwebs in the corner of the roof as you walk in on ur right. Round the windows weren’t wiped, wall paper beside the bed was yellow, and peeling!!!! Tried to get on wifi but it wasn’t connecting or very low that couldn’t get the internet

A small bottle of milk would have been good. I wouldnt have had to go and buy one.

The town it is located in

The dirty bathroom, the insects and faulty tv and the horrible tapping/banging noise outside the back of the unit

The location was okay, right on the main road.

The room was not clean. While the bedding was changed, the kitchen and bathroom were not cleaned, as there was garbage left from the previous guests and spider webs throughout. The parking lot was so small and a large truck parked right at the entrance, so it was very difficult to get in and maneuver. The wifi was inconsistent and would often cut out. When we tried to talk to someone, they were never in the office, even during the office hours.
