Red Roof Inn Columbus - Grove City

When we arrived to check in, our room wasn't ready, they were fixing a plumbing issue in the bathroom. We told them, we were going out and they said they would have it fixed by the time we returned. Our toilet was not working that evening, we had to go down to the lobby and use the restroom. They did nothing to compensate us. We do not recommend staying here.

First turn the TV didn't work and they expected me to wait for them to get there and put my shower and everything I had to do on hold, so I told them to move me rooms they did the first night was fine the second night or day from about 11:30 a.m. only until 8:30 at night there's a dog next to me that would not stop barking called the office twice and they still allowed the person to stay there even though the dog continued to bark. They also give you 1 wash rag and 2 bath towels. they think 2 people are gonna use 1 wash rag. Or 1 person use it for multiple days. Want extra ask 1st or bring your own.

When we arrived the refrigerator in the room did not work. This was reported the first night and was not repaired during the entire stay. There was mold in the bathroom. We had to go to the desk for towels each day

They helped us out after lost our place. Good people. Polite my car even broke down there and they let me fix right there instead of towing it

Our experience at the Red Roof Inn in Grove City, OH, was disappointing and below our expectations. Upon entering our room, we were immediately greeted by a strong and unpleasant odor of cigarette smoke that lingered despite the absence of any smoking signs. Additionally, the lamp in the room was nonfunctional, which detracted from our comfort. As we settled in, we noticed the lack of essential amenities; there were not enough towels or toilet paper for our stay, which was particularly concerning since we were traveling with a baby. The bathroom door also had an issue—it did not close or lock completely, making us feel less secure regarding our privacy. Further compounding our discomfort, we found mold on the bathroom ceiling, raising concerns about hygiene and the overall upkeep of the facility. The towel rack was loose, giving the room an unstable feel, and the air conditioning unit was dirty, emitting a musty odor that compromised the air quality in the room. Additionally, the toilet seat was wobbly and felt unsafe to use. Most troubling was the mini refrigerator, which failed to cool properly. This was critical for us, as it was intended to store our baby's milk and food. The combination of these issues made our stay uncomfortable and left us questioning the overall maintenance and cleanliness standards at this location. Overall, our experience was far from satisfactory, and we hope to see improvements in the future. (I have additional photos)

Very clean for a motel I was pleasantly surprised. And good customer service.

Our shower drain was clogged and quickly filled up with dirty water during a short shower. There was no drain cover in the tub, so obviously someone was aware. We didn't find this out until after midnight when we got to the room after a long hot day in the sun. The folks that came with us, the toilet in their room didn't work - wouldn't refill after flushing. So basically, they used our toilet and we should've used their shower.
