Abigail's Hotel

This was our second visit to Abigail‘s, and it did not disappoint! From checking in to checking out and everything in between was perfection. Abigail’s is situated just outside the downtown core. It’s an easy walk to downtown and the waterfront. Abigail‘s has a no children policy, which makes it nice and quiet (sorry kids)! The hotel is loaded old world charm and wonderful old fashioned customer service (rare these days). The rooms are a generous size, with a lovely seating area and fireplace. Equipped with bathrobes and slippers to make yourself comfortable after a day of sightseeing. There is a complementary coffee and tea bar 24 hours a day.. Last, but certainly not least is breakfast!! Each morning, a beautifully curated menu with a selection of savoury or sweet! Something for everyone. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable! We’ll be back ♥️

Old world charm and relatively close to the city. Communication prior to was very good.

Original building has no lift, carry suitcases up 2 flights. Parking is somewhat restricted .

We were looking for something slightly romantic for a weekend getaway to Victoria in the springtime. Abigail's is just outside of downtown, a pleasant walk from all the restaurants and harbor front. Upon arrival, it was pleasant to notice all the little things. The snack in the afternoons, the robes in the room, the comfortable bed and pillows. And they had two car chargers for our EV. We drove from Seattle, so getting the return trip for free represented a big savings from gassing up a car. The breakfast is a big time operation. There really are a lot of courses, but reasonable portions so that you don't get overfull. Sharing the sweet and savory options as a couple was a great balance. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

Breakfast was amazing all four days we stayed

The shower was too tiny and there was no fan in the bathroom. There was no space to put anything down beside the sink

The rooms are large and comfortable, especially the bed! The breakfast is one of the best we've had with very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and an assortment of delicious choices. Overall the staff is very welcoming, always saying hello and are very helpful.

Very nice hotel in a good location, with on site parking, a nice breakfast included, and great staff.

The property was well maintained and beautiful! It had a very Gilmore girl dragonfly in vibe. Location is wonderful as everything is really within walking distance.

There wasn’t much I didn’t enjoy! The rooms are smaller, but honestly for how much time you spend in them they don’t need to be very large. I do wish I could bring my children there.

Great trip and enjoyed the ambience of this heritage place with the library and rooms. Fox Glove room is your trip to romance with the king sized poster bed, sofa, fireplace and jacuzzi tub! So comfortable and cozy. Will be back.
