Hacienda Uayamon

El servicio de meseros en el comedor , fue muy lento, al igual que en la alberca. No habia suficientes tmbonas en la alberca para todos los huespedes que coincidimos, tuvimos que solicitar jabon y toallas, en general me parecio que el servicio no esta a la altura del precio.

In appearance this is a luxury hotel but it's full of details that doesn't match. First, the premises need a lot of maintenance. And I mean a lot! Since the hotel is inside an old "Hacienda" and it is inside a natural reserve, the place is full is insects. Is you are arachnophobic, this is not a place for you... Rooms are not well fumigated so expect to find many spiders. I had to ask front desk to provide me a RAID to keep the room clean. Rooms also need a lot of maintenance... Bathroom furnitures are old and notoriously damaged. Shower faucet has pressure problems and hot/cold water constantly changes, so expect to have a very hot water stream followed by a very cold water one during all your shower. Food is good, and people are kind but is not enough to consider this place a Luxury Hotel. Other thing to consider is that notwithstanding under Mexican law all prices should be published taxes included, the place doesn't do it, so expect an additional 16% over the final prices. An extra 5% of service is charged (they say is for tips, so don't feel bad for not tipping with every service, they will charge you extra anyways). Bring medicine supplies, the place is not far from the city but there is no pharmacy in the near and there is no cellphone signal, just WiFi provided by the hotel. If you are insect bites allergic bring anthistaminics. Lots of sun block as well.

Takes your breath away as soon as you get in to the property, the huge ceiba tree, the chapel and the pool are the jewels of the hacienda, the staff makes you feel like the owner of the place the only detail was that the room bar was completely empty, they have for sale different packages with drinks and snacks, they could’ve thrown a couple of drinks with the room and would make them look top notch.

Hermoso hotel, vale la pena adentrarse al lugar y vivir la experiencia.

Encontramos que la hacienda está descuidada y austera en cuanto a sus áreas comunes. No existe un lugar agradable donde pasar el tiempo fuera de las habitaciones. La comida mala. El servicio atento Las habitaciones bien en general pero muchos bichos y ranas dentro de la habitación. Creo que recomendaría visitarla pero no más de 1 día ya que no ofrece nada para más y me pareció que x lo que pague no recibí en equilibrio.

Muy mala atención en recepción, empleo de tiipo de cambio abusivo 1.23 pesos por encima del interbancario, y cuando se le hizo notar al personal, su trato fue lamentable. Afortunadamente gracias a la insistencia, al día siguiente se corrigió el error. Pero lo lamentable es el trato al llegar al hotel.

El lugar es excepcional. Necesita mantenimiento de manera urgente y mobiliario y decoración pues ya se ve muy viejo y descuidado. Sombrillas rotas, persianas rotas, sillas rotas. Con una hacienda así, deberían echarle más ganas. Se ve idéntica que hace 20 años pero deteriorada y vieja por el mal mantenimiento, la falta de gusto y mobiliario.

Hermoso lugar, mágico, tranquilo fuera de lo común

Beautiful and unique hotel. Each room is its own separate structure surrounded by vegetation, very private. Staff was great from start to finish. Restaurant food was good too, especially the local dishes.
